If you were ringside I was back abit further than that, aggression don't win fights if it ain't effective , what did he land clean on Gonzalez, Gonzalez didn't throw alot granted but he was landing clean when he did, you being ringside must of seen his sits were being blocked or he missed falling off balance, Gonzalez looked calm and wasn't getting hit clean, watch the YouTube closley not someone slap n running in

Sometimes I really don't know what people are looking at these days. 'People' being who ever watched adrian box and thought he lost and the ref. When I watched the fight I must say I actually didn't see Adrian get hit with one clean shot. The ref gave the decision purely on aggression which is completely wrong! Not once did Adrian look pressurised at any point in the fight. Adrian kept his cool at all times and got hit only on the gloves and arms when he was in the clinch. Adrian didn't throw that many punches but wen he did he landed very cleanly which I can't say about Ancliff. The video that was posted on youtube was by far Adrians worst round which I think was why only he 4th round was put up and even Adrian dosen't look bad in that round.

If anyone sees Ancliff land a clean shot then they don't know boxing. Adrian was moving around behind hi jab making Ancliff fall short. Making smeone fall short is a skill, putting your head down, running in swinging isn't a skill!

I've only seen the fourth round of the Gonzalez-Ancliff, but I thought Ancliff won it. Neither guy landed anything meaningful, but Ancliff threw much more and probably landed a few more punches. When neither guy are landing many shots or no shots of significance, the more active guy will usually get the round.

Can you please upload all the rounds if you have them? Then people can score it and tell for themselves if the ref was full of it or if Ancliff really deserved the win. Some people on here are obviously affiliated with Gonzalez and Lee Beard, so I'm not going to give their opinions any credit till I see the fight myself.

I know your not trying to make him look bad, but some of the other posters are clearly not very neutral observers and will say Gonzalez won no matter what. Thanks for posting the video.

i wasnt being directive by saying only 4th round put up, what i meant was, it was adrians least effective round i thought, but looking at your video seemed different to the night as i was sat back just before the tunnel, adrian just wasnt getting hit by nothing clean regardless how much ancliff through wild, adrian was catching his wild slapy shots or making him miss alot then scoring with jabs and one twos, i think ancliff coming throwing and adrians relaxed style of boxing was misjudged, adrian won in my eyes, just more measured/clean in a sluggish fight, he controled the aggression not getting drawn into a slugfest, you can be coming forward but you got to land to win, i.e, haye valuev, haye more measured/controled relaxed whilst valuev came forward trying, working hard without as he wasnt hitting haye clean, haye only threw what he needed to throw to win the fight which wasnt entertaining to, but he did win

neutral i got an opinion off what i saw from near the tunnel to the round 4 video, i thought it was a sluggish fight, boring to be real but you tell me on the video ( neutrally ) how offten adrian gonzalez gets hit! then how often james ancliff gets hit ( clean scoring shots ) not holding and slapping, how often do you see ancliff miss and who you think won that particular round. neutrally im neutral i just dont see agression runing missing and slapping winning a fight, more measured and clean won it for me

I didn't see either fighter get hit cleanly very often. When punches did land they were not very powerful or clean, but Ancliff was landing more of those type of shots in the fourth than Gonzales was. Ancliff was also coming forward and throwing more, and in close rounds without a lot of clean scoring, judges will tend to give that fighter the benfit of the doubt. Even if you think Gonzales won that round, anyone should see how the case can be made that Ancliff took the fourth.

I have not yet seen the other three rounds, so perhaps Gonzalez did outbox Ancliff in those rounds. I will have to wait and see though. From what I saw Gonzalez appeared to be more skilled and talented, but he just would not pull the trigger enough.

Id like to read the boxing news report on this as most people sitting ringside saw this as a combfortble win for for Ancliff.

ReWatching the two rounds i still think Ancliff took them and i suppose sitting a fair way back from ring it may look like only the cleaner fewer shots of Adrian were landing but Ancliff was landing a fair few on the inside and he was continualy pressing forward if nothing was happining Ancliff was at least pressing and to be fair he was landing more to my eye.

I spoke to a couple of people afterwards who were sat ringside and none of them even saw any controversy in the scoring at all?

rnd 3 real hard before the mexican wave gonzalez again seemd to do better work, ancliff landed one right hand on the bell, the left you say god knows, again i saw him missing alot gonzalez moving around , on the inside rabbit punched gonzalez again, rnd 4 i saw nothing of what ancliff done to be honest, 2 minutes followed gonzalez around, last minute sloppy holdiong and hitting, ugly back of heads shots by ancliff without warning, and you make out gonzalez was runing around when he clearly walking around, them two rounds not alot landing but the only clean shots and better quality were gonzlaez,i cant score slapping shite like that holding and hitting the back of the head,

lol, throwing more yes , i only saw one straight right land on the bell from ancliff in round 3, for the rest he missed and landed what! you count them as theres not many cos i dont see nout, he fell short on the outside constantly and then rushed and grabbed, slapping the back of the head, the boss, he was following gonzalez around, gonzalez was drawing ancliff in making him miss and moving around him, jab, one two, and i in theem two rounds seen noting clean and score from either fighter,

gonzalez been hard done by, ancliff agressive in spells but not all the time coming in, gonzalez controlled the little action, his downfall not being more on the front foot, but he defo landing the quality and shots, without getting hit, noone can show me where ancliff lands a knuckle part glove clean int hem rounds, gonzalez relaxed moving around drawing leads and ancliff falls in off balance,

I can't really see any moments in the third or fourth rounds where Gonzales lands clean either. The right hand Ancliff lands at the end of the third is probably the best punch either of them landed. Again, when no one lands clean, the busier fighter will almost always get the points. Not sure what you don't get about that.

complete bllocks, again trying his hardest to win doesnt mean you win, gonzalez controlled him, abit to patient to be hinest boring fight, but he controlled it, name where you say missing with some! he missed with everything, i see two things clearly, one fight slapping rushing in, hold and slap the back of the head and the other jab one twos moving around tying him up trying not to get hit in the back of the head, clear a the light outside, gonzalez was very quiet in this fight but seemed to just be measured in what he done and didnt get rewarded for that, he definately boxed his way picking scoreing clean shots along the way to win,
