Interestingly enough, I always liked Audley for some strange, unexplained reason. Possibly just the comedy factor of some of his quotes. Fair play to him though, he is still in the game and still may pull of his promise of winning a world title of some sorts.

Can I ask a question to those who said they hate Froch because of Gomez, if you're down the pub watching a fight of his and somebody down there asks you why you dislike Froch, would you tell them it's because he has a mate on an internet forum who gets on your nerves? Or would saying that kinda make you realise how pathetic that sounds?

I'm always amazed at how emotional some people get at what people on a forum might say.

Funnily enough I'd actually like Froch more if he livened up a bit and stopped being so damn serious, a bit of personality goes a long way when you're trying to promote a fight in a sport which is becoming more and more marginalised. I don't mind G0mez he gives us updates on Froch, yeah he gets a bit overexcited when it comes to Amir and Joe and his bias shows at times but never enough to make me hate a fighter, if I dislike a fighter it's usually down to the fighter himself although certain fans can irritate me.

I wouldn`t say that I dislike or like a boxer more or less due to the comments written on here.

One exception perhaps, I now really root for Enzo Mac, as the poor bloke has a seriously scary stalker in Flint Island.

Enzo is a nice guy and i always want to see him win but it annoyed me when flint and reeso made him look bad. I always want to see Liverpool lose because alot of annoying people i work with are liverpool fans

If someone is really obnoxious and over the top in their posts (ex:Audley is the best boxer on the planet you tits, Gonzales beat the shitt out of Ancliff you have to be blind to disagree), then I can develop a dislike of the poster making such stupid/harsh statements. Therefore I want the fighters they support to lose so the annoying poster is shut up and their over the top claims make them look like an idiot. Not fair to the fighter, but it can work that way.

i think the vote carried the fact the majority of people thougfh ancliff

No particular poster has put me off a boxer, but numerous posters on the CS claim they don't like David Haye, because of my over exuberant pro-Haye posts 8)

Audley still irritates me...... his post fight interviews while can bring up some gems also smack of some PR guru who has advised him so very badly. I don't know a single other boxer (actually, no sports man) who doesn't look at the interviewer. Audley always just faces the camera, and it is looks so arrogant.... must surely get on Adam Smiths/Ed Robinson's nerves also.

Yes,i have already said it!Froch did a good job of getting on all my pal's nerves himself,so i didnt get called pathetic.It's a shame really,but the HS P.R machine seem to be getting it wrong.I know a guy who has been on England squads with Carl,and said he's a good bloke.Just does not come across on T.V,does it?Never mind,im getting behind for the Super Six now.BTW,i dont get emotional,just said he was a nob once in a pub and everyone agreed,followed it up by saying people on a forum were making it worse

I am much more pro fighters who have been on here and and come across well.
All the Liverpool boys spring to mind, also Martin Power and Larry too.

I'm pro Vladimir due to the endless amount of 'knowledgable' posters who cant get over the fact that there is a heavyweight who isnt big for nothing and doesnt throw shots that shorten the distance between his chin and the opponent's fists

I like both Khan and Harrison. Yeah, they have their faults, but I think their hearts are in the right place.

He need not worry - in real life - that is away from boxing forums where we come to exclusively talk about boxing - I prefer stalking attractive women

His success - he was a decent Euro level / fringe World level WBO Champion

His ability - a bit limited - but a decent puncher and good speed

His future - looks to have a heavy question mark over it - and his next fight will either confirm him shot or give his career a much needed boost

The likes of Smigga, Jamie Moore, Martin Power, Big Larry O, etc come across very well indeed and will hopefully have gained a few more fans as a result.

Whereas - through no fault of their own - some other boxers have lost support or even gained a few 'haters' simply because of how their mates/relatives/stalkers conduct themselves.

But I don't extend that to actual active dislike of the fighter themselves -- not even Audley! My venom (though often misdirected) is intended for the individuals in question, it's just that first thing on a Saturday morning it can go astray.

Not forgetting Darren Sutherland (RIP) who was always a gent and very informative when he came on here.
