deno, i don't think beating Fagan is enough to make Andy Murray a mandatory
as it happens, stylewise, i think he gives John Murray a very interesting fight

Well he is the third ranked fighter in the European rankings CP:
-Lee McAllister is the main challenger but is injured
-Kudriatsev is the mandatory challenger but won't travel again
-Kevin Mitchell is NO.1 ranked fighter but can be excluded for obvious reasons
-Mezaache is NO.2 but dropped the EBU belt to chase a World Title of some sorts
-Andy Murray is next in line at NO.3
WHERES YOUR MENTION OF GAVIN REES NOW HE BACK DOWN TO LIGHTWEIGHT??????
The names I mentioned above are the from the current EBU rankings. Gavin Rees is not listed in those rankings:

it does look like a good move. considering joe gallagher wanted someone like martin gethin, just to keep murray busy. while waiting for the european title shot. now to fight buckland for british and european titles (and lonsdale belt outright), this is a neat move.
yeah, there are good fighters who will want a shot, like limond, andy murray, john watson. but now that murray is world rated, it's time for him to leave domestic boxing behind. but you never know. if murray wins, gets stuck at EBU level, maybe one of those guys will get a shot?
the fight is pretty late notice. will murray have enough time to take the weight off? has murray been in training, etc.
