The vast majority were cheering for Khan

so what? froch's fights with pascal and taylor were tremendous, tough fights vs talented fighters.gobbles wrote:Problem is, if Froch goes around slagging other boxers off like he did to Khan, he is going to get it back.
Froch called Khan overhyped, chinny and said he was boring when he won a world title. He's got to expect to get something back when he loses and he doesn't help himself when he says "if that had been in Nottingham" I would have won.
Also, Froch didn't win the world title the hard way, he won a vacant title. Khan actually beat a reigning champion.

Fact is he is a little prick who had a fight with kotelinik PURCHASED for him without even campaigning at the weight. He's avoided all his domestic peers and after he squeaks past Malignaggi they will serve up the corpse of Erik Morales.
He was boring as hell against Kotelinik and his glass chin has been cracked by Limmond, Drilzane, Gomez, Prescott - and Froch said what everyone else wouldn't when he discussed it honestly.
The guy is so stupid, that he believes being knocked through space & time in 60 seconds by an unheralded bin man is somehow a 'better' loss than going for it against a former 3 time world champion in his backyard. Does he not realise the difference between 'KO of the year' and 'Fight of the year' ?
The British public embraced him with open arms, until they tired of BIG talk and LITTLE opponents drafted in from 2 divisions below, his withdrawal from purse bids against Thaxton, the cynical barrera fight and the way he left Warren as soon as his repair job was complete. His spelling is nearly as poor as his record..... I bet he cannot spell the word 'Loyalty' either.
Sensing his popularity is dropping through the floor, masses of empty seats and Sky sales not doing nearly as well as imagined, he calls us all racist and clears off the America the cheeky twat.
Now he declares we all should all address him as 'King' Khan ?
55,000 Boo'd him at the Hatton homecoming in 2008 when his face appeared on the screen and the lion's share of the gate for Barerra wanted to see him get splattered by the little old legend.
He's a 'King' sized turd who'll be flushed as soon as he fights an Alexander or Bradley at 140lb.

FFS, "Froch was willing to fight Inkin" - if that's part of your argument - give up.Autobarn wrote:so what? froch's fights with pascal and taylor were tremendous, tough fights vs talented fighters.gobbles wrote:Problem is, if Froch goes around slagging other boxers off like he did to Khan, he is going to get it back.

khan boxed well vs kotelnik. but kotelnik boxed with very little passion, not like a fighter who wanted to keep his belt.
froch was willing to fight the well rated inkin, who messed him about twice. went to america vs taylor, went in the super 6 tourney. warren said he practically had to beg khan and roach to take the kotelnik fight. and khan has been steered away from marcos maidana, a puncher.
i know which fighter - both of whom have a loss each - i admire the more. even if froch doesn't help himself with his comments.
a thrilling 12 round loss to the proven kessler is better than being "gone in 60 seconds" by prescott, unknown at the time and who's done nothing since.
neither fighter are articulate or media savvy. but it seems that khan probably can't communicate unless through a PR team.
You are attacking Khan by proxy you cretin!G0mez wrote:If you had a brain cell you'd see that i've not written a single thing. Khan is the one making the attacks.Carlos-Wigan wrote:A look into the mindset of Gomez - his hero Froch loses his unbeaten record and what does he do? Attacks Amir Khan!

Perhaps now he will give up talking about Calzaghe because Calzaghe beat a prime Kessler and Froch was beaten by a slightly less than prime Kessler. Froch was never going to stop Kessler and he was never going to beat him on points.

perhaps. but there are some differences. for instance kessler was at home, and didn't have a broken hand this time.WildWaylon wrote:Childish schoolgirl milky milky bitching. I'm glad somebody else remembers this.Autobarn wrote:and didn't have a broken hand this time.
I remember it being a broken rib. But I remember a lot of things. Calzaghe beat Kessler but didn't exactly dominate him. It was a close and competitive fight. From a drama and excitement perspective it had nothing on the other night. No one can say that Froch has taken an easy road in his career at world class thats for sure.banjo wrote:I'm glad somebody else remembers this.Autobarn wrote:and didn't have a broken hand this time.

Agreed on the first point. Shows how superior Joe was to Froch. Finally shuts that notion up once and for all.stujones wrote:Kessler isn't the same fighter that fought Joe. He looked raggardy at times last night, not the good technician he once was. His hand speed isn't what it was also.
I think he will lose his title in his next defence.
