neither fighter are articulate or media savvy. but it seems that khan probably can't communicate unless through a PR team.

Khan's 23, Froch is 32. Khan was 21 when he got knocked out - a kid. A Froch, who was older to know better, slagged him off. And Khan holds a grudge for it, so what?
Does anyone really believe he was scared of Thaxton? He was pulled out by Warren, because the call was for 50-50 purses and Khan was on a huge guarantee from ITV.

IF this is Khan then he's a tool of the highest order. Froch just lost a war to Mikkel Kessler by a few rounds. At times he was laying a hiding on a quality fighter and survived some bombs himself. Khan got his stones toed by Breidis Prescott , a complete unknown who had done nothing before nor since. Also Khan and his team have point blank refused to face a puncher since. Grow a pair Amir, stop bitching about others and fight Maidena you tart.

Eh.....he had him going a fair few times there mate. Fighting in his back yard against a fighter I never gave him a chance against , Froch did very well and showed real balls and some unexpected skills. Credit where it's due as far as I'm concerned. Never rated him before the Pascal fight and after that I though it would be a one-off career high. He's achieved a hell of a lot more than I though him capable of and in the games toughest division.

perhaps. but there are some differences. for instance kessler was at home, and didn't have a broken hand this time.

yes, froch did bring on the calzaghe comparisons and now it's hit him on the jaw. still i've enjoyed froch's recent fights more than joe's 20 defenses, and honestly we don't know how joe would have fared in a tourney which forced him to have at least 3 hard fights in a row, some of which are away from home. (and coming off 2 brutal fights vs talented guys, before that.)

joe had a different kind of career. of course he'll go down as a better boxer, but i see froch as a better competitor if you know what i mean. i did think froch would change his style and he still doesn't seem to have done.

hopefully froch keeps slugging and manages to salvage something. he has kept a solid UK super middle tradition thriving, and he was in super 6 calibre fights a year or so before super 6 was started.

I remember it being a broken rib. But I remember a lot of things. Calzaghe beat Kessler but didn't exactly dominate him. It was a close and competitive fight. How do you know he didn't have a broken hand/rib this time? It's only the losers that have thing wrong with them. Same throughout history. Have a look at the Calzaghe/Kessler fight (which was a fantastic fight by the way to all you with a 5 minute memory span) and see if he held back his right hand at all - he didn't.

Kessler isn't the same fighter that fought Joe. He looked raggardy at times last night, not the good technician he once was. His hand speed isn't what it was also.

Don't agree with Khan's comments but it's expected after these classless comments from Froch. I just have to laugh at the double standards on this board!

Froch spoke to Amir at the BBC sports personality awards and they cleared the air. Agreeing that it wasn't doing either of them favours and that if his honest appraisal upset Khan, he'd refrain in the future - but that in this sport you have to take the plaudits with the criticisms. Since then you'd be hard pushed to see anything in the media where one has mentioned the other.

If Froch is guilty of anything, it's not sparing Khan's fragile ego when answering the question of 'where now for Amir' after the Breidis defeat. Froch said it was a long road back, but there was definitely question marks surrounding the jaw section. Then when pressed on his Kotelinik win many moons later, he said he'd not actually seen it, but heard he'd won, but was told it was fairly negative and his mate described it as boring even. That Amir was afraid to engage but a wins a win and Amir needs to do what he needs to do.

Next thing, the poison came out from Khan who said he was jealous, that he lives in a pad in LA with P-diddy as his neighbours. That he can sell more tickets in Nottingham and that he's a star and nobody knows who Froch is. That's he's bitter and a horrible person. Then some 6 months later used it again when declaring he was leaving the UK, to attack John Murray and Froch through the print press. Saying how he came through boxing 'the hard way' despite having a silverspoon up his ass since he signed pro terms. I remember in Hatton's book, when he'd beat Olivera in London, that across town a huge Khan party was being thrown for him and Hatton had not even got an invite or something. That he'd heard he'd signed something like a £100k a fight deal or something before throwing a punch - wheras Hatton was on pennies until the latter stage of that part of his career.

Khan is a prat and the day will come when that leash HAS to be taken off and he's going to get chinned so hard that he'll just turn it in.

A guy with ZERO ko's in Rashid Drilzane made him touch down first, then he got put on queer street by super feather Limmond. An old 5'4 Michael Gomez dropped him with a left hook.... he's going to get absolutely mullered the first true world class opponent he faces. Hell, he's been absolutely and utterly obliterated by a Columbian bin man in less than 60 seconds already.

Everyone will then kick themselves and say 'why the hell did we think that someone who has been exposed so many times at domestic level, would suddenly become a super star' ... the writing is has been on the wall for about 4 years. Now he's ducked a guy in Marcos Maidana (28 wins, 27 kos) to fight Paulie Malignaggi (27-5ko).

The last guy Paulie knocked out was in 2003 and he was a journeyman. Trust me, after him it will be the corpse of Erik Morales wheeled out for a last hurrah at 140lb.

And yet we criticise those who are willing to fight the best, again and again - yet cut this dork a bit slice of respect for what? for providing absolutely bugger all.
