You seem to think your opinion is right and anyone who disagrees is naive.
Rather than dragging down one of the most talented boxers the UK has produced in recent memory and complaining he didn't fight Jon Thaxton - a decent Euro-level operator at best - why not applaud his ability and achievements?
I agree he has been protected to a point but he's only 23 and has been in with some good names already. Give the guy a chance.
Murray is a very good fighter and would be a stern test, but moaning he is fighting Malignaggi rather than the Mancunian is very narrow-minded. The guy was in with Hatton not long ago.
Would you rather he fight Murray next than Malignaggi? Honestly?
Khan is a world class talent and still young. He'll start fighting bigger names and bigger punchers under Roach, he's already looking better and more-rounded under his tuition.
Completely agree, and wouldn't be surprised that by the time Khan turns 30, he'll have one of the most impressive resumes the country has ever seen.

To suggest another opinion is "nonsense" is a little harsh!
I know he was KO'd, but all I keep hearing is that "Khan is less chinny at 140lbs, and when he was hurt, it was due to making the weight". If that is the case, then why are they avoiding punchers, so obviously?
This will be his third fight at light-welterweight and his second defence of the title so give the guy a chance - how many non-punchers did Hatton face in his 106 world title defences?

I hate that defence. Just because someone else was guilty of that doesn't make it right that Khan is currently guilty of it.

Because Maidana is a nobody in the eyes of a lot of people but with the way he's going now he's getting more exposure and a future fight with Khan will be bigger, Malignaggi may not be a KO artist but he's mixed with better competition than Maidana and he's a bigger name well known in the US and known over here too which = $$$$$. That is the reality of it take a major risk for very little money or take a risk for a lot of money, the way boxing works and has done for years and years no matter what the old timers may tell us.

But to pay "hush money" to Maidana is wrong, no matter who has done it before. Maidana is the interim champion, so if the WBA want to feck around with all these belts, then they should make them fight each other.
Or make them give up the belt.

Needle is fine in context of a proper rivalry but I do wish that Froch, Khan etc would just try and keep their acrimonious misgivings private and Khan should also try not to be so sensitive.

i was a hater , why?? , i didnt like the hype that was amir khan , him blowing hiis mouth saying he was gonna do this and that without proving himself against the best and big punchers.
last night he did that and now he gets the respect.
im a fan , he showed his chin and heart last night , thats what we were looking for
great performance amir
still looks like a sorry fool despite the new found fickle "respect". He labelled the man a bum and said Maidana would knock him out and been properly exposed!
