Watching that has just fueled me up.

Khan's fans are absolute d*ckheads.

At least Khan's team are trying to stop them.

On a lighter note, I've heard that Malignaggi's fans are rallying to "get down & dirty Noo Yawk style" with Amir's Army:

I await news of their terrifying clashes with bated breath.

I've followed boxing for 32years home and abroad, and in all that time I've never come across a worse bunch than Khan Army.
Sad but true.

Gotta agree with that!! They cause trouble everywhere even in the am's they done it.. They have made a show of themselves here though!!

to be honest khan probably knows full well that there pricks but at the end of the day his job is to put bums on seats , and hes not likely to tell these guys there not welcome at his fights , and the trouble gets him talked about , in boxing theres no such thing as bad publicity , as it all adds to the intrigue .

The PR side of things is going badly wrong - its from the very start in my view!!

He is going from one of the most popular boxers when he turned pro to one of the most disliked now!! - its a shame because as I have already stated offensively he is a world class boxer!!
When was the last time we had a fighter of his obvious talent? Give him a world class chin and we'd be looking at an all time British great.
yes. :TU:

Spud - "He is going from one of the most popular boxers when he turned pro to one of the most disliked now!!"..............i wouldn't say that's true. It's an exaggeration against a fighter you've already stated you don't like. Don't peddle that because it's unfounded and it's just your opinion....you are indeed a great, great man, but you can't start talking on behalf of all boxing fans. Just my opinion.

Sad incident, have any British fans done anything like this travelling with a fighter before? Never heard it with the Hatton travelling lot, it is embarrassing to know this lot are representing us. :witzend:
To be honest our boxing fans tend to behave themselves abroad, most of the trouble is over here.

you're never sure of isolated incidents but I think Hatton's lot booed the US anthem for their crimes. Hardly this scale. They must be what you call "happy" drunks

I got that that impression too. Malignaggi admits to throwing some kicks at Khan..i guess he doesn't have much confidence in his hands :DD

i dont think any of you have picked up on how famous/infamous this will make kahn in america now. everyone will be talking about this incident and alot more american boxing fans will want to watch this fight now. this is the best thing that could have happened to kahn in terms of publicity for his debut fight on american soil.

not if he gets knocked out it won't chief :KO:

let's be honest Paulie isn't renowned for concussive power but don't believe these idiots that say he couldn't punch his way out of a bag.

I don't think there is any, single positive spin to put on this for Khan. It looks bad. Fortunately most right thinking people will recognise these mugs as what they are, but if Khan could publicly put any distance between himself and them it would be a good thing.

I know Khan's sort have never been the best at driving, a lot of them just don't have the fcking brains for it.....young lads I'm talking about, but he's always come across as a good ambassador for the sport, and for us in my book. :box:

not true...they are just imitating the football hooligans in France 98 and euro 2000
Its yob culture in britain thats out of control full stop however the pakistani yobs seem to have only come out of the wood work in the last ten or so years. And yes its as i said youths trying to prove that they can be feared like the white hooligans and the yardees.

And in all fairness the british football hooligans havent just left a car bomb in times square, so you would expect any traveling pakistanis to try and set an example or rather show the yanks that they arent all nutters and terrorists.

Khan sends a very good message across about british muslims/pakistanis - and that message is likely to fall on deaf ears with his supporters acting like complete tools.

To be fair though if a car bomb was left in Ireland it doesnt meant any white guy in a hoody should be feared. Some of his fans do seem to be idiots but is just crazy what people are suggesting that muslims should keep low profiles.

Yeah, one of them belatedly did mate.
Yes Taz (Amir's uncle) was calming everyone down and was very vocal. He did a good job.

You can't blame Amir for his dumb ass fans, obviously not doing him any favours, but even nice guy Rob McCracken had a load of hooligan fans who used to turn up at his fights and cause trouble.
