Its a shame leapai is doing his best and taking on a big name from the states and to buid to a bigger name and better things but you still get guys like brute and rogue whos shane camerons manager cant handle the fact he's doing a great job atleast we've got a aussie heavy making a move, what about demori, cronje, hamono, etc and cameron thats right he shit his pants to meet leapai and dropped to cruiser,if not brute and rogue why dont both you girls step in to heavyweight....lol i thought so....lol

LOL.... manage Cameron, nah that "glorious" job belongs to someone else. Sometimes certain comments have to be made which might not be pleasant and not what you want to hear but the fact is if someone is fighting a bum then they are fighting bums. That applies to any and everyone who has done so or doing so. Shane C is no exception, he has fought plenty of that type, when he fought someone good enough got the treatment.... as far as him dropping to Cruiser weight I suggest you take it up on a different thread and with his "glorious" manager. It's a shame and a bloody joke when "ranked" fighters have to fight "big name" bums for the sake of going through the motions...because the punters and fans gets ripped off. It's nothing personal and it's hilarious to see the "poop" get personal. So don't take it out on me or Brute-- or whoever, take it up with the promoters who facilitate these sort of bouts. Ranked fighters need to start fighting meaningful fights for the sake of boxing. Otherwise we all might as well watch Kimbo Slice and his You Tube poop.....
However all this banter is good as it will keep the thread alive and not boring..... keep it rolling!
* P.S: As far as Cameron dropping to Cruiser, I guess it's a bout the $$$ with a possible clash with Danny Green. That will be a box office draw card. Leapai V Cameron wouldn't- least no where near as Green V Cameron. So..... more dollars lead to that sort of sense?

That's the spirit-- keep it alive..... would love to see Alex fight Alexander Ustinov..... Would have had loved to seen Shane C do the same but that was conveniently ducked once upon a time :)

I'd like to see people from this area of the world fight each other and finally work out who's the best.
There's actually 5 or 6 heavys down here who might not be worldclass yet, but by fighting each other they'll learn a shitt load about themselves and better prepare themselves for when Europe calls or the US.

His father beat heavyweights, but Alex Leapai is a far different proposition to Foster Bibron and Maile Haumona.

Woah, that's a huge step up! Walker isn't as big a name as Williams or arguably even Beck, but he's a lot better than either of those guys at this time. Leapai's got a big job on his hands.

Walker didn't do much with Banks for 5 rounds, but neither did Banks.
Wait & see I guess.
* The first five rounds of the fight were mostly inactive, and the crowd booed the fighters in round 5.
* The action picked up in round 6 and the bout ended abruptly a little over the halfway point of the round, when Banks caught Walker with a powerful right hook. Both Banks and Walker fell to the canvas. The referee rules that Banks' fall was the result of a slip and started the count for Walker.
* Although Walker was up at the count of 7, the referee decided that he was in no condition to continue and called a halt to the bout.

'Not a complete bum'

You are a harsh man Toppity. I wish our promoters would bring the likes of Walker to fight our heavies.
