I'd be happy to take a seat, that is if you could cope with me droning on and on about Jamie's titanic win over Ciaran Healy for the Irish title.

Jamie's been paying me for premium protection. If someone looks at his pint funny then I sort them aht for him. I prowl the streets at night in my Batman head gear and boxing gloves and send Alex Matvienko round once a week to get my dosh from the terrified fighters. It is going alright.
He's right, anyone even looks at me and shag has a word. Any comeback after that and he get's scrappy do on it! :TU:

Best of luck for the evening. I hope Jamie gets a few quid; he was a proper entertaining and skilled boxer. I can see the point that someone else made though. There are lots of boxers who end up without a great deal. Jamie boxed a mate of mine, Kasi Kaihaou, years ago and beat him. Kasi hasn't worked since packing up and has had it really hard. Like I say; I hope Jamie gets a nest egg; he put a lot in. It is a shame that others who weren't as talented and are similarly in a bad spot don't have something to help them out.

Good luck with the night, hope all goes well. I may not have always wanted you to win being a Manc  but the respect is there for you as a boxer and a person.

A lot of people speak a lot of sense on this thread, there should be more of these nights for fighters when they call it a day. A show of appreciation for what they have given us (boxing fans) during their careers.
