I disagree. I felt as if Power partially turned away because the force of the shot moved his body, not because he was badly hurt or wanted out. The ref should have at least given it a few more seconds to see if Power was truly out of it. He was still fighting hard and it is not like he was taking a horrific beating. It was premature, in my opinion.

Thing is, Power is not facing his opponent, and is still on his feet. What else can a ref do? Can't give standing 8 counts, and equally, we can't expect Hall to lay off- a mistake Rogan made- and this is literally a split second decision.

Same as if a boxer is off balance and goes into the ropes face first. Call break, stop the action. Las punch was illegal and then he tried another. It was not as if Power deliberately turned his back. Green is hopeless.

Good stoppage. Just because a fighter can fight on doesn't mean he should be allowed to.

Thought the stoppage was premature.

Yes Power was turned, but he was in the process of spinning back round when the ref threw his arms in.

Power was still game, shame.
