And for those that criticise him (with some merit where he went a bit personal), yep a different strategy, but you all know who Chad Gaynor is now where before, like me, you didn't have a clue.
There are means and ways to do it Dave. This ain't it.

Do you think this method will get writers, who do this off their own back and dime, will be talking to the kid now? If I still did it, I wouldn't.

I don't get it. If our articles are worthless, why do you want them doing on your lads? Did you see the piece on Tyrone? Did you see today's interview with Howard Daley? Fashionable and biased, aren't we?

Questioning our integrity - as you continue to do - is simply well out of order and unjustified.

Chris, it's clearly a lot easier to criticise people who despite not being paid, seek to do their bit to promote the game and the fighters in it simply through their passion for it, rather that to actually deal with the fact that some of the responsbility is clearly yours. If you're not happy with the coverage your prospect has been getting in, I'm curious to know what you've been doing yourself to address that? If you spent half the energy you do on ranting on constructive things like promoting your guy, he'd have a significantly higher profile already.
And even if your man is a prospect, how does that mean that Alex is not?

I'm not editing anything - another mod will probably be taking stuff out which might get someone in bother.

I'm with you Chris. I think you're clearly right. These guys who come on here day in, day out talking about fighters just aren't fans. Even worse, some of them have the nerve to speak to fighters and interview them for other 'so-called' fans to read and learn more about them, while not getting paid for the phone calls, driving to meet them etc.
The ones I really can't stand are the ones who do things like travel round the country or even go abroad to cheer on British fighters - again, they're clearly not fans, they're just pretenders who don't really know the game.
They're clearly scum the lot of them and I think they must be an infiltration unit put in place by Dana White and his UFC cohorts to bring down the boxing game.
Thanks for opening my eyes to what's really been going on with this site and others like it over all these years :TU:

Think Alexander will break him up later on.

Not sure on McAleese because I've not seen much of Noble.

If only your observational skills extended to looking at my location you wouldn't even need to ask the question, but I've certainly got nothing to prove to you about being a fan.
And if you as a manager didn't realise it was in your's and your boxer's interests to get him into the public eye then I can only suggest that your boxer gets a new manager as you're clearly no businessman.
The saddest thing about this whole thread is that if you'd had just used an ounce of your energy to post something along the lines of "Hey guys, Alex looks like a good prospect, but you should check out my guy Chad as he's something really special," you'd have had a load of posters on here, including me, keen to find out more about him."
We'd have found out more and people would have started following him because we're genuinely interested, you'd have got good exposure for your man and it's suddenly a win, win situation.
Instead, you choose to be consumed with bitterness and anger. It's not healthy and it's certainly not productive.

Matthew Barney v Paul Morby headlines, also featuring Mark Atkins, Matty Tew, Jon Fernandes, Darryl Still, Shane Watson, Jonathan Fry, Peter Barney....

By the way its not Helliets show, apparently its Simon Williamson's.

Anyone who heads out to a show with Barney topping the bill deserves some credit.

I like Barney, very unlucky not to be a European Champion about three years ago but Jake LaMotta he aint.

Chris, you make me laugh. What was the last show you went to? Mine was the Four Nations ams in Sheffield a week last Sunday.

I USED to go all over the place but have less necessity to travel now as I've got a good set of lads who want to get involved. So, I formerly would have gone to Sunderland on 11th then Donny on 17th. But I've got Kev Roberts and David 'Jason' Statham going. I can't go to the W*rren ones because I'm banned...all that sucking up to protect my press passes, you see?

Probably Dave Coldwell's at Magna, mid-September.

Then Monaco for Froch v Abraham. That's a small hall. Only holds 4000.
