I think they will let Khan fight Maidana now. Thing is now we've all seen that he's not that good, do we really want khan to fight him. I'd like to see him fight ortiz or bradley now.

Everyone can have an off night,Maidana's never been the most skillful boxer but he gets the job done.

Any fighter can be taken the distance alot is in the build up to the fight maybe Maidana had a bad training camp. I wouldn't judge him on this fight he will still be a big test for Khan but I still believe Khan is on the road to greatness.

half the ppl here are delusional, i want to see khan do well but there is no way in hell he beats maidana, Maidana hits atleast 3 times as hard as Prescott, i think maidanas beatable but i reckon khans not the 1 to do it, imagine if there are 2 guys locked in a cage 1 of them is a maniac with a sledge hammer and the other is a skilled fighter with just his hands. dont you reckon that the maniac at some point will land on the fighter and when he does its over, the scenario applies here khans skilled etc but his resistance to the head and body is so shit he'll be out of there any time maidana connects. i feel sorry for khan if he had a chin he'd probably be special unfortunately for him this isnt to be and if they do fight i could see khan hanging them up afterwards

I think a maniac with a sledge hammer would KO any boxer (including Haye and the both the Klits)! I think this maniac with a sledge hammer would KO Brock Lesnar in UFC. I like this maniac with a sledge hammer idea; I think the rules should be changed to allow him to participate. Come on MANIAC!!!

You also have to take into account corleys toughness,he's only been stopped 3 times in 52 fights and he's been in with the best ie judah, mayweather, cotto, alexander, etc.

I think it's you who are delusional if you think that's an apt analogy for the Khan-Maidana fight. Firstly, they'll be in a fairly large ring rather than a cage. Secondly, given that, there's absolutely no guarantee the 'maniac' will land at some point in the fight. Finally, it's perfectly plausible that Khan's punch resistance has improved to a degree by the move up in weight.
A far more apt comparison is the bull and the matador given the way one fights with a reliance on brute strength and power, while the other relies on speed, timing and technique.
While you can't rule out the possibility of Maidana catching Khan, a far more likely scenario for me would be a shut-out points victory for Amir in the manner of the Kotelnik win. Bradley would give Khan far, far more trouble IMO.

Maybe you should watch more boxing too since it was a left hook.

33seconds into it ... when was the last time you seen somebodies legs quiver from a jab? ... or hook if thats what
you call it?
There is no argument that Khan is a very special boxer. He is superbly tallented without doubt
But there is no doubt either that he has a very bad chin. Bags of bottle how he will get back up ... but bad chin.
He has improved since moving to Roach. But much as he was at most danger when attacking early on .. he still is today. Roach has just made him stay on the outside more against classier opponents. Lets see how he does against a classy guy like Bradley

Way to back track - 33 seconds in his legs didnt go bambi like - they quivered as you have just said. His legs went bambi like when he was hit by a left hook.

If Khan is locked inside a small cage with Maidana, and Maidana is in a rage because he had a bad day then I would definetly favor the Argie. Add in the sledge hammer and Khan has even less of a chance.
However, It is a bit different when they are in a boxing ring and there is no sledge hammer involved.

Khans a counter puncher, hes fighting a guy whos a volume puncher, its the worst possible style matchup for him and if you throw into the equation his glass jaw its the recipe for disaster, i doubt he wins this

I think that Amir Khan has got to fight Marcos Maidana in my opinion. The reason as to why is not because Maidana is his mandatory for his full WBA belt, but because Maidana is a big puncher who will test Amir Khan's questionable chin which got shown up by Breidis Prescott, and people will think Khan is taking it too easy at Light Welter because he is a beltholder. Maidana will show plenty of heart but I just feel that Khan's superior footwork and handspeed working off that fast left jab will grind Maidana down before Khan takes him out in the later rounds.

Khans a pressure fighter and volume puncher, who can also counter. Calling him a counter puncher is pretty far off the mark.
Apart from a big punch maidana has nothing to trouble khan, he was beaten by kotelnic who has limited ability. All thats going to happen is people are going to bang on about maidana being a danger fighter, the fight will finally happen and Maidana will get taken to school.
Ortiz is a much better fighter than maidana - thats what people should be focusing on, he's far far better than when he first fought maidana.

I'd love to see Maidana fight Khan, if only to clean up the WBA belt. Mark my words though, Maidana is not great. He's a puncher with a big heart but if Khan fights like he has done post-Prescott, then I expect Khan to stop the very flat-footed Argie very soon. Perhaps within three rounds.
But if Khan makes a mistake, then it could be nighty night.

Within 3 rounds?!You've got to be joking?!I agree that khan is alot more talented than maidana but if ortiz couldnt knock maidana out after flooring him 3 times then i dont see khan doing it within 3 rounds!

Lefty, Khan is, without doubt, more talented and more of a natural finisher than Ortiz will ever be.

I would not call Khan a counter puncher. He is often the one taking the fight to his opponents and throwing the flurries of punches.
I just hope nobody thinks your posts are mine, due to the similarity in the names, as your posts are bloody nonsense.

Im not saying he isnt but im still not buying into your prediction of a stoppage within 3 rounds.P.s whilst khan is a faster and more gifted boxer than ortiz i dont think he hits as hard.
