How did the Geale fight go until the stoppage? Was it close?

I missed the farken end, i recorded the event and forgot to extend 20 minutes, i got up to round 9 when it cut out, i'll watch the rest on the replay. Geale was punishing him.
What about that KO from Zappa, and i thought that was going to be his toughest fight.
What a really good card. and only $39.95, thanks to the Grange.

id say geale won every round... Karmazin is 37, had slower reflexes, Geale beating him to the punch most times.. Geale got tagged a couple of times which didnt seem to bother him. Was a good stoppage to the fight, one more punch and he would have been hurt.

I thought Geales fighting pace with his speed was just too much for Karmazin, however i only got to farken round 9.
Daniel Geale is a sergio Martinez type fighter, he will win a world title, he's a natural, his movement is as good as the best, he's punching power isn't huge, but good enough to keep good punchers at bay, his speed is great and his timing is fantastic.

Hello world my name is Lenny Zappavigna
![[icon_knockout.gif] :KO:](./images/smilies/icon_knockout.gif)
Miguel Vazquez is in for a fight, I'll never second guess Lenny again, but that guy was knocking everyone out and had 1 of the best chins in the business............not anymore

Karmazin fought a draw with Sylvester in June this year. Beating him by stoppage was a fine effort by Geale.

This is only due to being pissed that i'm this late Franko, but if you ever get stuck again, The Mansfield is a good place to go, they always have it on no matter what the fight is, some hairy chicks crack onto you if you alright looking, but outside of that good place to enjoy the boxing.
I met Omar Shiack there not long back and had a bit of a chat with him. Really good bloke.

Geale seems to be in great form going into his world title bout. Considering he knocked out the guy who most people thought beat Slyvestor, you have to think he will give the champ hell. However, It will be very hard to win a decision in Germany. He must CLEARLY get the better of Slyvestor, and even then the scorecards will be close. It will be hard to KO the German, because his defense is good and he is very economic with his punches-- he doesn't leave himself open too much.
Also, amazing result for Zappavigna. This was a 50/50 fight going in. Kim has proven power and was challenging for a world title in his last fight. A first round KO exceeded everyone's expectations. I think Zappavigna has a decent shot of beating Vasquez.

I ended up buying this card and glad I did, some great results for the Aussie's. I actually thought the Medley fight was the most entertaining.

Fair play to Geale, this was a huge fight for him. I spoke with him fight week (See the interview posted on here along with the Zappavigna one)
It always impresses me when a guy goes and wins late like he did here. Hopefully they can get Sylvester over to Australia for that fight. I think that fight could depend who can get home advantage. It's always tough to win in Germany and Sylvester won and won well at home, take him out of his comfort zone.
Well done Lenny & Daniel, two cracking wins.
