As I think has been said somewhere else - warning for novice gamblers. This means sparking the other guy, the full ten count. Doesn't happen very often these days.

If someone is out before they hit the canvas, the ref almost always abandons the count and it's classed as RSF/TKO.
Ian,

Can Audley do it??
Come on, Carlos, you know the mantra by now!

He can but I don't think he will. Wouldn't it be amazing if he pulled it out of the bag though? What a story. Haye should destroy him though.

 Nah, he'd have waited until the copper was ready for the taking, or asleep, before letting the shots go.

People are quite Orwellian when it comes to Audley, I guess we all need to have our 'daily hate' moments and for boxing fans Big Aud's is a one-stop shop for every negative cliche used against a boxer, even though half of them don't actually apply to him if you look at the facts.
Orwellian is interesting concept...of course Haye is that. Bemoans the establishment for routine defences, gets a belt, and the goes for.....routine defences.

There is nothing Orwellian about Haye's career trajectory. He was a world cruiserweight champion and moved up to heavyweight for bigger paychecks. Sure, he wanted to become a world heavyweight champion, but I find the hypothesis that since Haye won the world title he has somehow been corrupted with power and money. It is bloody naive to believe that.

Since Haye moved up to heavyweight he was all about hyping himself up for money AND glory, but mainly money. It is no coincidence that he runs his own promotional company, sorts out his own tv deals and has run rings around every other British boxer in terms of marketing and selling his hype. He should be commended for his marketing genius - he has got himself into the mainstream media on a regular basis and the casual fan knows who he is.

The trouble is, that too many people believed his hype and Haye will just have to brace himself for the backlash, but that is a nice problem as Haye is going to make a bundle fighting Harrison.

Incidently, I do think he will fight the Klitschos before he calls it as day because it will be a monster payday.

Even if he won Audley will be 39! how long will he have left??
Hes has neither the power nor the chin an old George Foreman had....

Audley would get destroyed by the Klitchsckos.... and i think Haye will do the same to him

Perhaps I'm the delusional one thinking that both those variables are a possibility.
I can see a post Ali/Foreman style rant myself - in his delusional way he would think he was in fair compmay with Ali too

my morals tell me its a 1-2 round fight though.Thats how long it will take for Haye to crush Audleys pineapple head into a glass of rubicon.

I'd like to see Audley win but I don't think he will. He has become one of my guilty boxing pleasures over the past few years.

Haye has shown he is scared to fight the Klitschkos. He has made a cynical match up much like DLH made when he made Pacman come up 2 weight divisions to fight him. DLH got embarrassed that night. I hope Haye does too. A brutal KO would be great. Haye would never live it down because he is supposedly in his prime and picked this fight to make some easy cash.

I think a lot of people will be wanting Big Aud to win and I think he can.

I was just thinking that. I'm sure Booth will have that in the contract - Audley probably had to accept everything Booth and Haye could come up with, including the very short end of the purse too.

Looking at the size difference, I imagine Haye will be pretty cautious - he's out reached, and while he'll fancy he can flatten big Aud if he lands, he'll be very aware that if Aud beats him to the punch with his left, then it could be lights OUT.

Must be a bit odd for Haye, as 10 years ago Audley was the boss. The young David Haye was hanging out with his hero, basking it the reflected glory of the Olympic champ

Well, Shannon Briggs proclaimed himself better than Ali because he won a world title with asthma. Imagine if both Briggs and Harrison win these fights and then meet each other - that would be even bigger than Ali-Foreman!

the fact of the matter is, Audrey will be shi* scared the moments before and once the bell rings. He hates aggressive fighters that he knows are capable of sparking him with one punch. Audrey hasn't beating any big names and he was too scared to fight others like Herbie Hide when he was offered the fight. he will obviously give it all the talk and rightly so because its a win win situation for him. If he losses which is the most likely scenario he will retire with a healthy bank balance and if he does manage to get a lucky punch in then the world is his oyster.

personally I can't see the fight going past the 3rd round, and Haye will dominate before the ref stops it.
