Am I being nieve or is that really Paul Smith arguing with that home of british boxing (take it he's not official) - he called him a kunt and a bellend - crazy! Have to agree with the guy though I think Simpson won the fight (close as it was) Mr Home of british boxing don't think we'd need the judges if you had the balls to get in the ring with Paul Smith though.
Its definately Paul Smith. They have history,HOBB(aka NOBB),is always winding Smith up!

It's because he's only 20 so he's just hot-headed. HOBB, just learn to chill out a bit and don't pick 'fights' you can't win :TU:

Firstly, it's not of nowhere as I've seen the 'history'. Secondly, rise above it rather than calling people "fornicating retards".

Are you sure, fella?

Simpson's trainer replied to this thread and didn't dismiss the notion of Simpson dropping weight.

was at the fight and my personal opinion was that simpson won the fight aswell. Must admit that i scored it a lot closer after watching it again on tv but thought simpson had still done enough to win it. Smith has a great reputation and will no doubt go on to do really well for himself but i dont think he done enough to leave glasgow as the winner, no wonder simpson is so dissapointed.

Whatever happens next i wish simpson the best of luck and hope he does manage to get a rematch with smith in the future!

Good luck to John at the new weight, sure he can go far. But I can`t believe how some people can criticise Stephen Smith, I thought it was a close fight too, but thought the right man won, you must admit Swifty had the balls after only 10 pro fights to challenge Simpson on his own patch.
And Why HOBB do you have such a downer on scousers and Paul Smith in particular , have a bit of respect, I for one would you of loved to have achieved what he has, it takes a lot of dedication and sacrifice, and I’m sure he can go on to world honours.

Lindsay said in his post-fight interview yesterday that the board have ordered the Simpson fight so maybe one last crack at feather for him before dropping down?
