I hope o'donnell loses his next fight and retires. This is one of the dullest fights i've ever seen.

Maybe it is, but is there a great deal of evidence to support that theory?
Nope, you're right - there have been plenty of terrible cards turned in by judges.

I reckon you would get fewer small hall bollocks decisions though.

The logic is one of those things that, on the face of it, 'stands to reason'.

O'Donnell and Brook have been on similar career paths but you look at the fact that Brook has beaten quite a few domestic contenders already (faces Jennings next week as well) + the win over Bienias, and O'Donnell has no good wins other than Watson in my opinion and that's why I think O'Donnell is always going to be behind.

The loss in America seemed to affect his progress and Hennessy hasnt really been able to move him on. The Glover fight was one he didnt need and when he fought Watson it looked he was stepping up but the TV deal went and he has found it hard.

We have to remember that this was no permanent deal for Hennessy but if things have gone well maybe Hennessy can bring take advantage of the gap in the Friday night market, which will help his fighters a lot.

People on eastside are saying this was good card. What are views of those who saw?

Depends what you want. Neither fight was much good from my perspective.

I think the main advantage of the referee making the decision is that the blame for a dodgy decision rests solely on his shoulders and everyone at home and in the arena can see him.

With judges the blame gets distributed amongst them, and they are not in the middle of the ring with cameras in their face when they hand in their dodgy scorecards.

It was not really tv material IMO!

I am not sure, as I found it difficult to concentrate on the action because I didn't really care about the fights.

Nah, it was on Premier Sports which is a new, subscription, mini-Setanta style channel, 433 on Sky platform.

The Fury fight was decent comedy value. Power was a genuine tough guy anf Fury flattered to decieve with terrible power and poor technique. If Power hadn`t done his hand in the 2nd, it might have been interesting.

I fell asleep during the O`Donnel fight. Decent opponent for O`Donnel though and he will learn from that.

How about a single judge scoring at ringside?
