I have Skelton winning 29-28, but McBride should have been credited with a knockdown in the second, which would make it 28-28

Skelton won the first pretty clearly, and the third was close. I don't think it was a bad decision from the judges, it was the ref who screwed up. Explain why McBride won the third with no questions.

No, I mean the judges have to go with the ref, the referee missed the knockdown.

if i was a judge I would score first for sceleton, second for mcbride and after seen at least knockdown I would score third for McBride.

I'm sure some people will be wondering how Declan Timlin got to 7-0 as a pro. I was at the National Stadium for his last fight, with Mircea Telecan. He is truly, truly woeful and that Telecan bout ranks as one of the worst fights I have ever witnessed.

His KO loss tonight was no surprise.

Get off your high horse..... but yes I feel Skelton is talking sh1t when he suggests that God is on his side and looking out for him.
It's a ridiculous statemnet and makes him looklike a severe moron.

However Skelton at least does not follow a religion that says Jews were turned into pigs and apes, and that it is perfectly acceptable to beat your wife etc etc.

I think so. But it's all been a dreadful advert for boxing. I remember watching the last one in the pub and non-boxing fans who know nothing were laughing at how bad it was.

I also watched the Harrison-Barett prizefighter final..... I can't believe he will lat 30 secs on that form

Skelton should have had the knockdown counted against him, can't believe the ref didn't see that. I had McBride scraping that fight based on Skelton first round, McBride 2nd round by 10-8 and a drawn last round. Really poor though.

Sprott has looked in good shape, should have too much for big bear Skelton in the final.

I think it will be a much better fight with Skelton fighting Sprott in the final. Whether Skelton deserves his place is another matter.
