DeGale looks real class, and will be favorite, but he's an 8 fight prospect, taking on an ambitious champion with near 30 fights in his own back yard. It's a brave and ambitious move by all concerned - FW, Smith and DeGale.

Dec 11th is shaping up to be a night to remember for UK boxing. They'll have to break mid way through the Liverpool show for over to Germany ( on red button? could be quick, hope so for Del Boy's sake ) then over to the States for Khan in the biggest test of his career.
No chance they will show a Klitschko fight on the red button.They will sort something out.
They are showing Klitschko on big screen in arena and as part of the TV broadcast

Some early odds from SkyBet;

DeGale 4/9 v Smith 7/4

That's about right IMO.

Now, what happened to Paul David who was going to fight Smigga?

Hmmm. The 'Paul David Massive' (all three of us) need to know!

Regardless...do it for the northerners, Smigga! :box: :TU:

Great fight, the kind to re pique my interest.

Is this going to be part of a PPV show?

Because it shouldn't be.

Make that four of us - I'm gutted for "Dangerous". Maybe he'll get his shot before he's 50. Give him a place on the undercard Frank !

Can't help feeling that Smigga is being fed to Degale like Steve Robinson to Naz.

If you're splitting England then I'm afraid I'm backing DeGale. :P
