Casey is fighting Mumtaz on December 3. Might be a bit hard fitting another fight in before Chriastmas.

Hoping you do extra well with this one, to cover some of the loss incurred on Oct 1 due to AFL GF II

Anton I'm trying my hardest to forget that week. It not only screwed me but screwed many other businesses. I had 8 tables cancel on me from Monday to Wednesday. Got to the point that I was too scared to answer the phone every time it rang. :witzend: But at the end of the day the show went ahead, Serge got his win and everyone except one got paid. Just part of being in business I suppose. You got to take the good with the bad.

You can see now why I named it "Jungle Fever"

Bet my balls you ain't gonna plan another show 1 week after GF
I'd come down & do timekeeping FOC, but I'd need a crash course 'cos I haven't done it since Dec 1, 2000 & probably fail filling-in Control Board's application
Time clocks haven't gone to waste......I use them when cooking & baking

Any one can get a passport. The key is whether countries will let you in.
Doing well in boxing opens up doors for many fighters, doors that may not be open other wise.
To answer the question I myself in the last 6years through boxing have been to Scotland, Greece, England, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, PNG, Fiji, Tonga, Australia and just came back from Tahiti less than 3weeks ago.
While in Tahiti I meet with the president of Tahitian boxing who I knew well from my amateur boxing days as a New Zealand rep. We discussed a possible title defence in Tahiti maybe in February. As the Tahitians are awesome hosts you tend to get treated like royalty the sporting equivalent I guess of being an All Black (for a NZer). Its a great country to go to as an athlete. If it happens we will look to offer an Australian the opportunity. Lets hope it comes off.
Boxing - I love this sport. An opportunity to travel and meet good people.

Caveman - I have just came back from overseas so I can travel. Yes as an amateur I went to those countries. As a professionl fighter its risk vs gain. For the right gain we will fight overseas.

Yes I will be fighting Choppa Dec15th at the Auckland Boxing Association in Auckland. Will keep everyone updated on the card and any fight updates may have to make another forum for that.
This rematch bout has been in the making for a we while. Since the head clash @ the end of rd3 on the Tua vs Cameron undercard. Under WBO rules a headclash within 4rds that causes a bad cut results in an automatic technical draw. This was shaping up to be an awesome fight. It is definitly the fight the NZ fight fans want to see. So im glad to be able to finally give NZ fight fans what they want :box: .

Just heard the fight with Choppa is off!! Souls people couldn't come up with the $$ to get Choppa in the ring. Choppa is NZ biggest draw card behind David Tua in the fight game and does not fight for the average purses..shame would have been a real good one..Souls hardest fight to date!! Choppa was getting the best of it in their first match!!

Hey loser, reckon you could fill in for me, Ive had sooo many overseas trips this year my passport page is full of stamps already, would you go to Kiwi and fill in for me Sadsak, it dont pay much, probably just $600 US, plus the airfares and other perks etc, :OhYes:

I could beg and beg the NZ Authorities if they would let you into the country, but i reckon they would demand you shower before leaving your kennel in Nerang, but somehow, I just cannot see you mixing it with the other well credentialled Kiwi officials, you just wouldn't fit.......Oh gees, i guess ill have to appoint myself and go over i suppose

Maybe ill ask Ben, he works hard for Boxrec as well and is an ever improving Judge from the West, :OhYes: after-all, it must be his turn soon, Carl Zappia is on his junket. Oops i mean't Judging assignment in Jakarta staying at the 5 star crown plaza hotel in downtown Jakarta.

Ben would fit in well in NZ, why, cos he has a personality, something God forgot to give you when he realised what he had done. Ha-haha

Good night Sadsak, :verysad:  sleep well

I appears things went south with the purse...Choppa gets more than the average Kiwi fighter for good reasons...he is a legend in the Fight game...new to boxing but his pulling power is big..If people want to challenge him and get him in the ring their ego's have to handle the fact most people are there to watch Choppa...a smart promoter will cash in on the fact!! All I have heard is the fight is doubtful...

Are you serious 'Dawg? He is huge on the Muay Thai circuit, can fight and is exciting to watch, I'm not surprised that he commands a bigger than average purse over there as a lot of fight fans would be willing to pay over the odds to see him in a boxing fight, he's also a popular draw (at least in a kickboxing fight) here in Melbourne.

Chopper Reid?????Who's Chopper?[/quote]

Shane Chapman "Choppa" Was definitly a legend in Kickboxing circles. But to suggest he is NZ's biggest draw card in boxing behind David Tua is a huge call. I would say Shane Cameron is the 2nd biggest by far. What are your thoughts??
According to Boxrec the facts on Choppa are.
Boxing Pro debut 2002 to date 8wins 1loss 1draw.

Of the wins 3 of them have been against guys on there debut :shame: . 2 of them against a guy who had only 1win to his name that makes up 5wins. 2 more wins come against a guy who is a journeyman winning 50% or less of his fights making 7 and his debut was against a similar level opponent making up his 8wins.

The fact is Choppa has never beaten anyone who has won more fights than they have lost.

I hear he is now fighting a guy who has never won from four starts and been knocked out in 2 of them. It would be good to see choppa step up and stop fighting these sorts of guys.
His 1loss was to a credible opponent in Daniel Mckinnon but I guess if you build your record on guys who dont know how to win then you will never learn to challenge yourself and be a better boxer. What do you think? Choppa isnt Sonny Bill (in terms of opponents) or is he? After all we do know people will pay to see SBW beat up bums but we know he aint no boxer.
