I wasn't there Ben so my info is 2nd hand. In my opinion though, this is any boxer and not just Groves - "had to take a knee" means you have your senses and choose to take a knee. Being hit that hard that your senses go and your legs give, dropping to your knee is a different matter. Also you won't see many people taking knees from head shots voluntarily. Normally body shots do that.

I hope the rumours of Groves having a weak chin prove false, as he looks a future world beater if his chin holds up. I've got my doubts too, but only because of the rumours, because we haven't seen anything like that in the ring so far.

The stumble in the US was hard to call, was he hurt, or tripped over his own feet? He got flattened in the ams, but that can happen to anyone, Ricky Hatton included. Plus he took Travis the distance next time out. And Froch can knock down most super middles out there, if he connects right, especially a ten fight novice.

Not sure if the Scotsman is being a bit over rated here, he hasn't done a lot. Groves should win this one. Great fight.

Agree with most of what you've said but Groves will not stand up for about 10 min if he gets hit with one of Anderson biggest punches, that I am sure off.

It's a 50/50 fight imo but if Anderson clocks Groves it will be over.

Good fight to be made. Hopefully a sign of the way the division is going (all the top ten lads fighting each other) and an intriguing fight.

If Anderson lands a decent shot it's game over for Groves. His chin is badly vulnerable, hit the deck in amateurs, ko'd, decked in sparring recently and Anderson can dig. Groves could look great because Anderson is slow at times, predictable and easy to hit. He has struggled with Mendy and King but this fight/show should make him rise to the occasion big time.

I'll be having a bet on the fight not going the distance, Anderson early - Groves late.

My mate stopped Anderson in the amateurs. Had him down too. Clubmate of mine, good friend. I remember it well I boxed on the same show

Took the 9's this morning for a few bob Steve, crazy prize even though I fancy Groves which kind of sounds foolish I know but sometimes you have to take the value.
