Someone on here the other day said how being a boxing fan sometimes makes them feel like a rape victim....
That is how i feel tonight...
Two good mates, set up the payday for audley to retire on, i wouldn't be surprised if we find out later that audly put money via a third party on himself to lose in the third...
As soon as it was over kalle saureland was all over Haye.
Stitch up!
Also after paying £15 like a mug, and lining these robbing bastards pockets I can't help but feel sorry for the likes of froch etc...

There are a million and one things that could have stopped Haye Collecting tonight, it's still gambling .
betting on yourself to lose in sport is the big problem.
alot of sports governing bodies have banned gambling altogether as a result.
but boxing is not one of them and
Haye's done nothing wrong, other than taking an easy fight.
not trying for 3 rounds then knocking out the other fighter when you predict it to your family and friends for gambling purposes= doing nothing wrong?

i see nothing wrong with what Haye done, if Harrison had of went for it in the first or second, haye would have knocked him out- he didn't. if Haye said he bet on the second and knocked him out in the third nobody would complain, whats the difference?

David Haye merely carried Audley into the 3rd because he had a bet on himself.
David could have ended that fight in any round he chose.
I agree it was a joke fight & Harrison never belonged in the ring with Haye, but it wasn't a fix as Harrison was deluded enough to believe he actually had a chance of winning.

Did you not think beforehand hand that it was bit of a waste of money, seeing how Harrison has performed over the last 9 years?

I've just been reading on Twitter some bits about a fix. Apparently Haye shouted "NOW" just before he decked Audley.
I don't believe it for one minute. Them's big punches with bad intentions to be hitting a mate with.

He was just so much better than Fraudely that he could do as he pleased,
the fact that the fight was even made in the first place is the problem here if anything.
but even so bookies were happy to take bets.
It's still a gamble and still has odds even if your one of the fighters involved,
there are a million things that could have gone wrong.
What would have happend if the ref hadn't have stepped in and it had gone to the 4th ?
What would have happend if Haye had broke his hand early on like he did with Valuev ?
err well he would have lost money wouldn't he,
hence the reason why it's called a gamble and why it's allowed to happen

A fix is when two boxers collude to organise the result of the fight.
Do you honestly think Audley would have stood there taking a massive ass whupping like that if it was a fix? He took an absolute beating, and even got up for more punishment.
Have a word with yourself mate.

It wasnt A fix... It was A farce
Its our fault for buying the fight, if We had all protested and boycotted the fight maybe it would of told Hayemaker 'bollocks' you aint robbing us, We want A real match up...
We all knew it was A disgraceful match up, Harrison did nothing to deserve the shot...
Haye and them knew it would sell tickets, so they made it...
The fact that Haye predicted or 'planned' to KO Audely in RD.3 isnt A fix, its Audleys fault for not doing something about it lol Ali used to do it all the time...
I lost alot of respect for Haye for making this fight ages ago, I still paid for it though haha I just wanna see him fight Klitchkos and then We can judge Him how good or legit He really is...
Altho I will admit, after watching all the interviews etc nearing the start of the fight I stated to fall for the hype A little and started thinking MAYBE just MAYBE there could Be an upset or at least A competitive fight, I came to My senses pretty quick though...
The Groves fight made up for the poor main event...

Not been funny pal but Audley didn't take anything like a 'massive ass whupping'.
Margarito took an ass whupping and he earned his dough and kept in there, took his lumps and fired back when he could.
Harrison didn't try; simple as. When Haye opened up he stood transfixed; he didn't go out on his shield. There are many, many boxers who try their absolute best; when the odds are against them and when the fight is not going their way. The vast majority of them do not shout about things before the bout.
Audley really ought to pack in; his heart isn't really in the sport anymore. He has made enough money to tide him over while he learns a new trade.
The show was not worth the £14.95 and I won't buy another Hayemaker PPV.

I'm going to see if we can't get a dictionary coded into the site, so that people can look up complex & rarely used boxing terminology such as "a fixed fight" before they post, so that they do not make themselves look quite so fornicating retarded in future.

one thing, do people think haye would shout out 'NOW' and harrison drops to the deck

, how risky would that be lol
and how would haye know what time it is in the round, and harrison not??? if they wanted to sync a ko they could of arranged when the 10second 'knock' went of or something... either way, no way was it a fix, haye is so much better they wouldnt need to fix it...

Haye's comments were naive maybe but let's be real.... the guys not a bloody idiot and isn'y going to start talking live openly about a fix is he?
Naive - yes
Dumb - no
Fix - nah Harrison really is just that good with his mouth, and that god damn scared with his hands.

Haye and Harrison were always and still are good mates.
Watch closely when Haye starts putting it on Audley, he looks at him with that "Is this ok" kind of grin.
I`ve seen more convincing acting in a first grade drama class.
I imagine Haye whispered to Audley after it was over, "Well we screwed them all and made a fortune"
Reeks of pish.

Whatever, my point is, there are easier ways to throw a fight if that's what he wanted to do, rather than eating massive right and left hooks to the head.
Harrison also looked genuinely devastated after the fight, he really is just completely and utterly delusional. When he looks in the mirror he must see Lennox Lewis staring back at him.
I do agree with you about Audley, he really must retire.
I wonder if his heart was EVER in boxing as such. Rather maybe it was just a means to an end. Fame, fortune etc, without ever actually enjoying the reality of the paid ranks when you run the serious risk of taking some lumps. At Amateur he could basically prance about and pitty pat with his shots without getting involved in a real fight.

Cassius Clay and Sam Langford often accurately predicted the round they would win in. Haye knew Harrison's limitations.
I thought the fight was a mismatch when I first heard of it. Harrison passed his peak in his 21st fight when Danny Williams beat him. Williams would not live in a fight with Haye. It is time for Haye to fight somebody with a heart and a pulse.
