surely green can do better than cameron. its a waste of a fight. even he said himself he should have won his last fight(on the green/flores card) by KO to deserve a shot at green. and he didnt. the guy isnt in the ball park to be deserving of a green fight. its no different to mundine v pretty much any opponent over the last 5 yrs. a waste of talent. i would rather wait til april/may to see him fight someone good than watch him fight this guy next feb march.

i dont mind cameron if its say one of three fights for the year but i agree if its one of two its a waste of what surely is a limited time left of his career.

vs cameron is pointless.

just a way of annoying the fans imo.

no point going backwards again. he has a couple of fights left, don't waste it on this guy ffs.

use him for sparring instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Green is currently getting over a knee cartilage operation done after the Flores fight. He hopes to be more mobile when he is over it.

Seems it has been bothering him for some time.

Well hopefully something is locked in and Green should venture more OS, but the $$$ seem to be more appealing to fight here though...

It's going to be tested in the Sydney to Hobart race, Farken absolute horrible conditions for such a really dangerous race, horrible stretch of water even in sunny conditions.

Danny has pulled out of the boat race because of the knee.

Appears the sporting types also sailing on the boat were having side bets on who was going to chunder first thanks to the conditions. Spewing before reaching the Heads is considered the absolute dishonour!

The Green story also said he is giving the race a miss because of his knee. Why risk it on a deep sea drinking expedition, as a 12 footer sailor I knew called the Sydney/Hobart. A solicitor my brother knew had a boat that used to get as far as Nowra before pulling into port because that was when the grog ran out.

Fox have reported Green M P had fight set for April, but that has now been put on hold. They are no saying it has been postponed but will obviously need to assess how Danny recovers.

Not sure he is a baby, his appendix burst, which is life threatening. My Mrs had hers out and she was in severe pain. Its not a pleasent thing to have.

Sounds like peritonitis. A girl cousin of mine had that when she was about 12. The appendix exploded when they cut her open.

Story said Green had been having abdominal pains for seven years. You would have to be tough to put up with that.

The "baby" comment I think was tongue in cheek, if not bloody stupid. Anyway, the fight in April is now being reported as off. Where does this put Greeny. He probably would have been looking at 3 fights this year, now depending on how he recovers it could be down to 1 or two at best. Hopefully this gets rid of the Cameron match up. BJ will want to invoke his rematch, so I hope Greeny (should he recover) aims high for the other bout.

Looks like Danny is set to take legal action.

Cameron vs Vea winner seems likely.

Doctor was negligent, obviously why the life threatening story is the headline, i just finished watching his interview on Fox sports..." it sort of puts things into perspective" and all that could of died saga. Also note that the hospital are now claiming that he left early before diagnosis, I'm sure Greenys lawyers have been in contact with the hospital.

He did say that the April fight is on hold, not off.

Yeah I saw that interview a few hours ago. Since then Channel 9 have reported the fight off. Either way I think Danny should really consider his stance re any legal action. He attended a regional (country) hospital over here and by all reports was pretty crook. Whether he got turned away or walked out will be debated. But I think a guy with Danny's posiiton in society (especially here in WA) could maybe show the plight of the medical staff in WA's regional hospitals and how understaffed they are from a first hand experience. He has his health and by all reports is ok. If he should criticise anyone criticise the governemnt but not an individual staff member or doctor.
I am a huge Green fan and hope he gets back in the ring sooner rather than later...and the winner of Cameron and Vea would be a joke. He would have undone all the hard work in beating BJ...

Mate, i too am Green machine fan and agree also on the Vea vs Cameron winner being absolute horse....
But it will happen.

I would like BJ to fight another ranked Cruiser before him and Greeny fight again.
I would love to see a titleist as Greens next opponent but it won't happen now, he'll take a soft option then another top 10 fighter.

Looks like Danny's next opponent may be the lady doctor who misdiagnosed his condition and sent him away.

Danny is a lucky lad and wont be back for around 6 months at least.
