i love the way bomber writes on here, you can tell he lives for the sport, to me his a real pro who admitts his still learning, i think 2011 is going to be a big year for bomber, i can honestly say 6 months ago i wouldent of put bellew in the same ring as cleverly, but id fancy bellew every time from what ive watched recently, i know its all about levels and cleverly had an off night last time out just like bellew did 2 fights ago, but bellews heart is massive and that alone can take him all the way. good luck in 2011 bomber

Your right he's clearly into his boxing and is always good to read, never disrespecting fans or fellow boxers but Cleverly's abit out of his league at the moment, there just at different stages of there career. Cleverly should be fighting for a world title next year.

Didnt mean any disrespect at all chap....I think this is a more 50/50 fight now than say a year back...Love to see it happen,if he man up

Bomber, you were taking over the fight, but with the two KD's against you and the horrible stoppage, don't you think it's best you rematch him, unless you step up a level? I would hate to see you justify no need for a rematch then fight someone who is English level, or lower. Or Latvian.

having caught Bellew by accident on various undercards and enjoyed his spirit and personality in the ring, he's become one of my favourite fighters to watch - apart from the Ajisafe fight which was obviously a closed event (saw it on telly though), i've seen probably his last 8 or 9 fights and like the above poster, feel like he's on the road to being one of our most entertaining boxers and however far he can go, he's definitely going to entertain and give his all in the ring. There's no doubt he loves the game and what's equally impressive is him turning up at other shows to support his fellow fighters and do a bit of networking - he's a smart lad no doubt about it and he has the personality to make a career in the sport.

For me I've seen him lose concentration a couple of times when he hasn't blown the other fella out of the ring with big shots, when he hurt his hand on the Khan/Salita undercard was the first time I noticed this and he got frustrated although he ground a result out - same with Ajisafe, he got frustrated with the knockdown and Bob's awkwardness and started to complain a bit and feel a little sorry for himself (IMHO) in the ring. It's good for Tony to keep the passion that makes him the fighter that he is, but steely focus is a mark of so many great fighters - he showed great heart to turn round the McKenzie fight but in both that and the fight with Bob he spent a little too much time trying to line up the big bombs when he should have possibly gone back to his boxing skills - a student of the game like him surely can mix it up.

Tony should be fighting for a British title next and then if Ovill has a couple of decent wins under his belt this rematch could be tasty a little bit down the road, but right now Tony has to look for more belts and move his career on

bellew has got got a massive heart & set of nad's but his mouth swallows everything up :!: i like his talk & find him a funny personable character were others might get sick of it & want him to shut up & find it annoying which is fair enough
but like the fat lady said, sit back & enjoy the ride kidda :!:
