He also comes across as an arrogant twat, from what I've seen on TV. Maybe he's different off-camera. His comment about being disappointed he didn't leave Jennings "unconscious" on the mat for his fans still rankles with me.
I dont think he comes across as arrogant on tv - but then i do know him personally.

i think you're being a bit precious regarding the jennings comment, mate. lots and lots of fighters, including david haye (of whom i am a massive fan) have said a lot, lot worse
I didn't agree with a lot of Haye's comments pre-Audley, but we're talking about a guy who made these comments moments AFTER beating Jennings - one of the sport's gentlemen - on a cut. It was out of order.

As you're his friend you'll obviously have a different opinion to me, as mine is based purely on what I've seen and read. Perhaps he should work a little on his PR and go on a bit of a charm offensive.

Nobody has heard of him, even though he is more talented than a lot of boxers getting more publicity. We know him for negative rather than positive reasons outside the ring.

Maybe that will change in 2011, but it won't come on the back of a Khan fight, he has bigger fish to fry.

Brook a very, very special fighter and will eventually be one of our best. Just needs to get a move on. Fighting too many shambolic opponents given his age and experience.

What was Brook like as an amateur, did he win any national titles, england vests etc?

Cheers mate. It still amazes me that Khan won an Olympic silver with such little senior boxing experience.

Sounds like a simple bit of PR from Frank to try and get some attention for Brook off the back of Khan's name.

Khan laughed it off on his Twitter account last night, suggesting he does a number on Brook in sparring...

I think Khan will wait for winner of Bradley/Alexander and fight them in the UK

I would love to see this fight happen, but maybe in a couple of years..

This would then give chance for Khan to unify the light welter division and step up to welter like he wants too..

Also gives chance for Brook to have some bigger fights (which he wants) maybe a world title shot or fight Mike Jones early next year..

I also think he needs to be later in the Sky B.O bills as your right allegedly focus on the likes of DeGale, Clev, Bellew etc which in there own rights are good/exceptional fighters.

Imagine night of british boxing though, what Warren probably wants, DeGale Vs Groves, Brook Vs Khan etc :D
