Well if Crease is kicked TFO......and Marlin is in....we would consider participating......however...as is often our fate.....both of our fighters will be considered too good to be part of the riff raff based on the rules.

This is why GBP does not condone rules, because they tend to limit the depth of our complete and utter domination over YOU....the little guy.

Read the rules Kevo.
So you can win the tourney and then not get a title shot? Seems pretty pointless if the only prize you're going to get is a bit of a rankings boost (which i'm still not really happy with!)

This whole thing is a joke. We already have one, well established, tournament. Do we really need another one muddying the waters?

The WBU has never had mandatories, why start now? Because Crease wants to?

Crease wrote:And What happens to the Prizefighter Champion?
4. The Prizefighter Champion will receive a mandatory WBU Title shot the following week. (Weeks 11,21,31). This is a Mandatory title defence for the WBU Champion. The Prizefighter Champion ranking cannot exceed above the 16th rank.

NOTE: If the WBU Champ refuses the title defence, he will be stripped of the title and the Prizefighter Champion will participate in a title fight against an opponent chosen by the Commish.

Well in that case The Million Dollar Tournament is pointless.
If you want to be cynical, the whole fornicating BoxrecSim is pointless because it doesn't get you anywhere. Except waste your time.

The MDT is an established and prestigious Tournament, it's worth winnig just to say you won it. PF is some half baked idea dreamed up by you to garner some attention for yourself/

If you think The Sim is pointless, then f*ck off. You won't be missed.

crease........yours is not to determine nor define pointlessness .....simulation has it's good points....such as GoldenBuzzPromotions and it's pointless aspects.....such as Rocky Graziano's manager...etc.

pointlessness is what it is.....do not take such things in a personal fashion.

Perhaps I was being harsh, but I believe I got my point across. It's easy to be cynical - "this is rubbish, that is rubbish" but it's hard to try and create opportunities in the Sim.

Prizeifghter is not about me... It's about creating opportunities for boxers who have no prospects in the sim. They won't be ranked high enough to get a chance at Major world titles.

Kevo was complaining earlier that it is unfair for the lesser boxers to get boosts up the rankings, because one of them will win 3 fights in a row. But that's the point, the lower fighters need all the help they can get.

Some people have recently made it an issue because they don't like me, but if any other Manager tried to arrange this, Prizefighter would not be attracting the same amout of negative attention.

A fighter like Fitzsimmons being allowed to take part makes a mockery of this whole thing. It should've been unranked fighters only, preferably 2nd round picks only too.
