Very tough to call. Durans prime was at 135 lbs. He was great there. Every once in a while he would fight above and beyond at the higher weight divisions. Not great after 135lbs.

Marvin Hagler was a great Middleweight. In my mind one of the best ever.

Sugar Ray Leonard missed the main part of his career. He was an outstanding welterweight. After that he tried to pick and choose his opponents if he thought they were over the hill. He waited to see Hagler slow down. Donny Lalonde...really? Hearns was starting to slow down by 1989 and as far as I am concerened Leonard lost the rematch. Over the hill Duran. Made a mistake going after the young buck Terry Norris.

Hearns was a great Welterweight. He was still very good at Jr. Middleweight. Middleweights gave him a little more problems. Light Heavyweights he did fairly well against. Super Middleweights were tough on him. And Cruiserweights...well.

I think Hearns was better at all the different weights. Hagler was the best at his one weight. Duran was crafty as hell. And leonard was very smart in the ring.

I think Duran was definitely the most skilful of the four. Leonard had the best skill combined with athleticism and ring intelligence. Ray was out-boxed for long periods by Tommy.

Duran’s skill saw him through many, many fights when his physical gifts had gone.

I realized I probably didn't rank them. So here it goes.

1. Marvelous Marvin Hagler (Beat Duran, Beat Hearns, Probably would have beat Leonard in his prime. If Hagler fought Leonard 10 times I believe he would win the majority.)

2. Thomas"Hitman"Hearns (He was beating leonard in 1981 before he ran out of gas, Beat Leonard in the rematch as far as I am concerned, Annihilated Duran, lost to Hagler.)

3. Sugar Ray Leonard (Beat Duran twice, Beat Hearns once, Beat Hagler. I really think he wouldn't beat Hagler if they re matched. Hagler wouldn't have let the last second barrages in the rematch. Hearns pretty much owned Leonard twice except running out of gas in 1981, Hell, he even out boxed him then. Leonard owned Duran once he figured him out.)

4. Roberto"Hands Of Stone" Duran (Duran got figured out by Leonard, Destroyed by Hearns, and beaten by Hagler. I don't think if he had a rematch with Hagler or Hearns anything would have changed.)
