johnnygreaves wrote:Lefty your a gent so no offence taken. I knew when I started wins wouldn't help me get work. It's just normal for me now , no one has ever done me favours , especially with scoring so I just enjoy being johnny Greaves. That sounds weird I know but what I mean is, I'm a different guy outside of boxing. Johnny Greaves is a showman , tuff & don't give a eff . I'm altogether different. Sensitive, caring & most of all polite
Sounds like we're quite similar mate!Ha.You get in there and kick ass and sometimes get your ass kicked whereas im a wimp and watch from the sidelines!Ha.p.s have a word with your brother and see if he remembers me :)

Do you not get pissed off when youfeel you've been robbed of a decision? Or is it kind of relief in that had you been given the decision your work may have dried up?

Strange phenomenon being a journeyman.

No I don't get pissed off mate. It's nice to have your hand raised but I think , the lads that have had a touch know deep down they ain't beaten me . That's enough I think. If I've done well I sleep easy knowing I ain't a mug . Boxing, if you don't understand the politics & workings can break a man's heart . I'm probably on paper one of britains worst pros but I know that is far from reality . I'm proud as a peacock .

geeza why don't you look at getting a big night sorted for your 100th fight at york hall i'm sure all of us on here could fork out for a ticket to show our support to a true gent of the boxing world, im sure a promoter would be more than happy to do this for you as you have helped them out so many times before, also we could all have a after show party to celibrate your career. :TU:

Long way to go yet I think. Getting over sat will be hard in itself . I have set my heart on 100 tho so if and when I do you boys will be the first to know where. Back in the gym today . Looking at it again there really wasn't a lot I could do. Even a few jabs shock me. Hope brad goes far as he was respectfull and seemed a good lad .
