This thread is a discredit to what is normally a very good forum really. I find personally Anthony Small a very unsavoury person and wouldn't waste time on him, but some of the comments on here are as narow minded and pathetic as the man himself.

The poppy is no longer a symbol from the World Wars, it has turned into a celebration of the armed forces, and i for one can understand why muslims in particular would not appreciate its celebration at the moment. To many innocent people have died or been injured from many cultures due to a very illegal war.

i was just thinking the same thing. Im guessing the idiot behind these troll accounts doesnt have more than 1 braincell to rub together therefore it must be the same person behind all 4 accounts!

In honesty, I see why alot of people won't support the poppy, but its no reason to go trashing it and making a huge scene. Nothing in the Islamic teachings about pissing people off, and the majority of muslims, though silent don't promote this kind of crap.
