We used to have a delivery driver that came every week and he saw the photo. He asked me what is was all about and I said 'oh yeah he's my Uncle'. Everytime he came in he asked how he was and I'd ahve to say, 'yeah he's alright thanks'. Soemtimes he'd ask a bit more in depth so I had to pull out some extra bullshyte..

I have to admit he isn't a household name and I had never heard of him but a few of the lads on the team he played with were "big names" back then - the likes of Johnny (Jackie) Carey, Con Martin, Paddy Coad etc.
Did you open the link on the Wiki page? Picture of your uncle in the newspaper.

In the VIP tent at the Stafford University ball in 1992 or maybe 3 my Welsh housemate, who was a sort of scruffy Clark Kent called Chris Lewis said to Right Said Fred, who played at the ball, - "Brillyant lads, I'm not a puff mind you, but you were Brillyant".

heres a good one.
I work with this guy whos from Corby way, well he was in a show called oppertunity Knocks with his group called Rainbow (they had to change the name as there was also a group in the states called Rainbow and the US group had more money and better legal help) Anyway this group lost to a man with a singing dog!
Anyway, while they were in the studio recording a record in came Slade, they were there to record 'Come on Feel The Noise' Well the drummer for Slade was in a car accident and broke his arm, this kid who played the drums for 'Rainbow' was asked if he would do the session. He said yes and was offered either royalties or £50. Well he says back in the 70's £50 was a lot of dosh so he took the £50. So to round it up, the guy who I work with played the drums on the original single 'Come on Feel The Noise' by Slade.
