Well ref got it right in the end, he looked foolish giving Murray a pass then taking a point off the challenger.

Murray had to work hard for that win, too hard... back to the drawing board for bigger things!

Murray wins - fair enough, but the Ouazghari was very game indeed.

Murray should have had more than one point off for me. Bit closer than 116-110.

He'd struggle to put away Brandon Flowers than Brandon Rios on that performance.

What would you have him do then? keep defending and not try and prove himself at world level, he's got to take the plunge and soon.

OK, I'm having a bit of a laugh there.

He just seems a one trick pony, bulldoze forward and hope the job gets done. Munroe does it similar at a lower weight. Works at European level, but world level I just think it won't be enough.

John Murray done nothing wrong. He fought as he always does. It was a poor performance. At world level he will get exposed further.

That were a good lad. 100 to 1! He could box. I bet Mitchell nearly wet his pants; he'd have given it to John tonight, big time.

i see what your saying, but he wasn't wobbled or looking like he was going to lose.
yes it was a tough fight, but i think Ouazghari isn't finished at this level yet.

And credit where it's due to Ouazghari.

It would be worth Buckland, Crolla etc having a look at him.

I agree. I think he'd be both out boxed and out bulldozed at world level.

murray seems to be 1 of these fighters people constantly make excuses for. if you say he doesnt move his head enough they go "he catches shots on his arms". if you say he takes too many punches they say "he was never wobbled". Like that makes it ok. Its like they are willing him to be better than he actually is.

I love watching him but he always looks like hes been in a car crash, at this rates hes prob only got 3 more fights in him b4 it starts to show.

Footwork, power just arent enough for the top boys. + never feints and forgets to work his way inside. Mitchell must be kicking himself.

Also, refs do the kid A LOT of favours.

Sorry it was another typical Murray performance, eat shots and try and impose his will, I can never seem to forget that he looked shite against McAllister early doors,

His best most efficient performance was against a aged Thaxton.

Rios would bang the drum on John sadly.
