Typical bad commentary by Sky. They should just follow the fight - this "fairytale" nonsense is a bit trite.
Not sure where the case for Morales come from really.

What a fight, really would be happpy to see it again, thought Maidana was lucky not to have points deducted thought the judges score cards were too wide, would be very interested in the punch accuracy per centage/

morales didnt disgrace himself at all. Maybe, just maybe there is more in the tank. And the marquez fight can be made?

Well, Maidana definatly took the first 3, and last 2. Thats five.
Give him 3 out of the other 7, thats all thats needed.

Sky`s commentary is pants. They pick a theme and beat it to death.
Although not impressed with him, Maidana clearly won the fight for me.

El Terrible was great in there
Thought he would just make it. Would have been an unfair decision but I wouldn't care. Here is a man who knows boxing nothing. He almost did it by stoppage as well. He buzzed the hell out of Maidana with a left hook in one of the later rounds but didn't follow up. Old school morales would have laid him out swiftly
As for Maidana, I think his punch credentials have to be questioned
Since he stopped fighting South American Subsistence Farmers he hasn't looked that menacing. Yes, he has put all the fighters through hell, but he should have been putting them to sleep. He has 1 legit KO, 1 retirment where the fighter would have got ko'd anyway, and that's it

I was thinking the same thing. He is more of the "heavy handed" physically strong type as opposed to a KO artist with geniune one punch power.

Great quote from saad in the general when asked if buying the Action Hero card
'Id pay $50 to watch Morales eat dinner'
This man used to be my favourite fighter. He won't win any titles but he can have some entertaining fights before finally calling it a day. Should probabaly stay away from JMM though.

Exactly. I'm sure its just a technique thing. The right trainer could have him looking like a Julian Jackson possibly
I do like him though, he is a good value fighter

Morales vs Guerrero anyone? Morales shouldn't be a 140lbs fighter.
