If he really wants Khan he should go after Prescott and then start baiting Amir through the media. If his next fight is not against a big name opponent I will deem it as failure on behalf of his team to cash in. I would like to see him back in the ring no later than August assuming the cut doesn't prevent him coming back any earlier.

I'd like to see Mccloskey in a decrnt match up soon. Not exactly sure whom they will find, but I'm sure they will find someone.

Everywhere you look all you read is McCloskey was gonna lose. It's boxing anything can happen. It has gotten blown well outta proportion though.

Had McCloskey actually been winning that fight, then he would be world champion now.

Maybe you are purposefully taking his comment up wrong but he meant if the fight had continued there was no guarantee that McCloskey would lose, even if it was likely.

Froch-Taylor springs to mind, I am sure there are plenty of other recent "turnarounds" that I could think of as well.

Boxing never sells in Boston. Its a serious poor relation in pulling power and support.

I think Micky Ward even struggled to fill the Boston venues despite being from down the road. New York on the other hand could be tapped into by an Irish boxer.

Really? I was always under the impression Boston was the place to go for Irish boxers wanting to make it in the states. I even thought Ricky Hatton was trying to tap into that support having his first major stateside fight there.

No I think it's a common misconception due to the large number of Irish-Americans in Boston but it isn't really a boxing city so to speak.

It's great to see the Derry public turning out for a fighter. Barry Hearn needs to find a venue there - now!
