Just looked up jonh Boy Marshall after you said that. Found this random story which would appear to have ended his career no less, which is a shame if it did!

News from VIPBoxing.com.....
JOHN BOY MARSHALL OUT FRIDAY - KO'D BY A DOG!!
Yes John was knocked over by a large Alsatian on Sunday when doing his last running session on the track. Whilst running the dog run into John and knocked him over and John landed awkward on his knee, ripping his tracksuit bottoms and twisting his knee. It seems hard to believe, but this was witnessed by trainer Joe Gallagher and boxer John Murray - Murray tells us he was too fast for the dog - who had a good laugh before they realized the damage caused. John Marshall was on a good role and we will look to get him back out as soon as the leg heals.

For some reason my link has been changed when I posted it, guess the mods on this forum dont like the site, but if you replace 'spam' with 'fight hype' in the link then you will get there. No space in fight hype.

I boxed Daniel in my debut in November and he was a top bloke both before and after the fight, gave me some words of encouragement and gave me a good start in the pro game.
A true gentlemen in a tough sport and i would like to wish him all the best in whatever he decides to do.
