I thought Haye seems a bit rattled when Wlad was in his face about the twitter account he has. I don't think he expected Wlad to be as bold and Wlad looked huge compared to Haye which must be slightly intimidating even for a guy like Haye. All that said, I do fancy Haye in this one as long as he can get inside the jab which is easier said than done. Truly cannot wait for the fight. Will be an unbelievable weekend!

I have no problem with Haye trash-talking Klitschko. Wlad is polite, courteous and respectful. We had two opposing fighters who were both like that in Vegas at the weekend. Look what happened there.

I could agree with that. I think Haye has it in his own mind that he has Wlad nervous, but when i seen Wlad's mocking of Haye's tweets, he did not seem nervous to me, and an air or realisation seemed to appear over Haye's face then.

Haye needs to focus on bringing his A game, and not worrying about if Wlad will be fighting nervous, or not.

Yeah, see how he is tomorrow. I've seen him a bit dry-lipped and jittery at previous pressers so it's not a huge worry... just as long as he keeps on converting that nervous energy into speed come fight time!

I dont think Wlad is nervous in the slightest. He has always seemed super confident when it comes to Haye.

Another point that might just be down to me seeing things - did Wlad look rather gaunt and drawn in the face to anyone else? As though he's trained like a demon for this?

I've just watched the Sky Sports video, which has the extra footage regarding Twitter. Haye seems confident.

That was mind games from Wlad. He was trying to get Haye to do his bidding -- shake my hand, show them your mobile phone, write this on Twitter, etc. -- Haye did what he wanted to do. The Klitschkos are good at mind games and manipulating the audience.

Agree. I think DH has been imagining Wlad over and over as the dazed & confused sap he's seen ( many times ) floundering on the canvas against Sanders. Then the reality of the HUGE, confident and very assured man he met yesterday may have rattled him.
It's all very well "beating" a big hapless lump like Valuev, as DH constantly reminds everyone, but Wlad is a million miles away from the big Russian. He's massive, co ordinated, experienced, smart, hits like a mule and has a better chin than DH too.

Definitely. I think it's obvious who's manipulating who here and Dave doesn't like it because he thought he would be twisting Wlad up

this was wlad firing back at david haye after all the hayemakers antics...haye would have been expecting this and handled it perfectly imo

I can't figure out who really has the upper hand at the moment, and I don't think I will until the fight starts, and then it might not even matter.

Both fighters are confident, and both believe they can win. I'm pretty sure of that.

I think Haye and Hayemaker go to far with the psychology of the sport (e.g. the colours signify a gameplan etc). However, Wlad has never acted like that at a press conference, which for me signfies he is worried (which can also mean, expect him to be very focused in training).

To play devil's advocate, Wladimir is a very proud man, a man of ego. If anyone tries to bring him down, he will fight back. Had any of his prior opponents spoken, and done, the same as Haye, Wlad would arguably have acted in the same way, despite being ultra confident. I don't think it's necessarily a sign Wlad is rattled.

The more it goes on, the more I think Haye's going to get knocked out. Hope I'm wrong.

It just feels to me like he has basically been building to this point and maximising his earnings for this last fight. All the excuses are in place. I don't know, maybe I'm being cynical.

i know what you're saying but my point is that the opponent - haye - has moved wlad away from his comfort zone with his actions....ergo wlad feels the needs to respond to this..hence his behaviour at the presser yesterday...

ultimately this may work in either fighters favour.

todays press conference should be interesting.
