You thought Bomber looked well, Leachy?
I don't think he mean't that.

Tony did look gaunt. As someone who thinks he'd be better suited to Cruiserweight, its got me worried.
Nah, you have got it wrong, dude. I thought he had watched it and was simply curious what he thought.

Can't wait to catch up on this when I get home.

Pity it was cut short, but there is a way Sky could deal with high risk live broadcasts. They could make the relevant hour on SSN pin protected. Sky movies show far worse during the day on this basis.

Bellow has just sold the fight brilliantly, bet this will do far more buys now. I think he wants to intimidate Clev into a fight as well which will be the Scousers best chance, good mind games, you can tell buy Bellows comments on here that he is an intelligent bloke and knows what he is doing. Not eating makes you tetchy too!

Can't wait to have a look later. I'm told that Bomber's Tweet about being only 61/2lbs over was, erm, inaccurate and I'm very concerned about him going into this (or any) fight in a weakened state. Let's face it, a big lad like Bomber is hardly likely to be only half a stone over the limit six weeks out from fight time. He can probably get down to 175 by starving and dehydrating, but it will affect his performance, it has to.

I thought Cleverly sold the fight aswell as bomber, offering him outside and doing the slit throat gesture and all that great stuff haha.
The confidence oozing off degale is immense while groves looks a little less confident than normal to me.
All just my opinion of course.

Any news on whether this will be for the full or interim belt? Surely if there is no world title a catchweight of around 180 would make more sense?

agreed. with a stipulation that should bomber win he gets an official title shot next.

for all the excitement the last thing anyone wants to see is bomber getting seriously hurt cos he's drained too quickly.

I liked Clev-Braehmer as a fight but I like this one more — makes for a great pair of main events, two all-British needle matches. Really looking forward to it, atmosphere should be electric.

Have you seen some of the things Bellew has said about Cleverly in the lead up to their fight and aslo, previously even here on the forum??

2 way street and in my opinion there hasn't bee any respect coming from Bellew....
There's a difference between that and doing it in public Cardiff. When we interviewed Tony for BM he stayed very respectful regarding Nathan ... on the record, anyway!

Frank and Bomber will be laughing all the way to the bank now after that press conference. Bomber and Clev played the game perfectly. There'll be loads more ppv buys now. Groves and Degele seemed like a couple of playground kids by comparison. Degale's bet makes their fight a bit more juicy. I think Groves may well be going home with nothing now.

Basically the winner gets the other fighters purse and his own

Degale was vague in his bet, 'i'll cover your purse'?? Does that mean winner takes all? Degale will give Groves the same amount as Groves purse if the Olympian loses? Or perhaps a bet for the same amount as Groves's purse?
I'd be suprised if the loser gives up any money

Betting on yourself to win outright is much different to betting on correct round, method of victory, or betting on your opponent!

I think Vargas promptly paid his side bet of $100,000 after getting stopped by Mosely

Gotta love El Feroz. I suppose Groves started this when he offered to bet his purse on Ringside. If either of them pays up here I'll be very surprised but even more impressed by their having done the right thing — you shouldn't make empty bets IMO, ungentlemanly.

Yeah. I reckon you can double the number and it's closer to the truth.
