Very bold call to say a prime Vitali beats a prime Lewis when in their fight Lewis was over the hill and Vitali at his best yet Lewis still won. I'd take a prime Lewis to dominate a comfortable points decision.

I don't think Wlad is up to much at all to be honest in relation to an all time greats list. If David had gone for it, I think the result could've well been a KO with Wlad tasting some canvas. He looked like he'd seen a ghost the few times Haye did actually attack.

The HW division is that poor, we are looking at Wlad as being the best with not much else coming through. Sad times indeed for the division and even sadder to think that if Haye had some balls he could've won and set up a fight against Vitali, who is certainly the best out there since Lennox retired.

Who else out there would you pay to see Wlad fight as a PPV event? Sad question to ask but one that rings true. No one. The number 1 HW out there and you wouldn't pay to watch him fight anyone...

A prime Vitali beats a prime Lewis, yet the same prime Vitali lost to old Lewis :o

A motivated an in shape Lewis would have beaten Vitali by some margin. Probably not stopped him as Vitali is very tough.

Lewis clearly hadnt trained very hard, he was training for fatboy kirk johnson and it showed, he was out of puff after two rounds.

Vitali gave him a scare, but that was far from the best version of Lewis, and Vitali was at his physical peak then. Manny Steward had already said before the fight, that Lewis' training camp wasn't going well, and that he was struggling to get movitated to train.

i rate Vitali quite highly, he would have been competitive with any heavyweight in history, but he's not on the level of Lewis.

As for Wlad, early in his career, he threw uppercuts, hooks, crosses, the lot. Now he has developed a very safety first style. It's not that he can't do it, he just doesn't commit to his shots.

I MEANT TO SAY A PRIME WLAD :witzend:

I EDITED MY MISTAKE ON MY OTHER POST WHICH WAS A BIG ONE, I put prime Lewis when i meant prime Wlad. IMO a prime Lewis beats a prime Wlad and Vitali
