Not in world class, no, but he's a name in your part of the world and had an impressive finish in a great fight on a showcase bill last week. I think it makes sense. Green can't go straight back into world class without a solid win at a lower level to build his confidence back and restore some faith from the fans.

I couldn't say, but I think that Green has enough left physically to beat up at least a big domestic name, and he's stated that he wants to go on. If the mind and body are willing, why not? I'm not so sure.I thought Green copped a real hiding there, and Tarver is past his best as well.I can't see Green beating the likes of Steve Cunningham, Tarver or Hopkins.Maybe a fight with Cameron would do big business, but I would be nervous for Green now.He is not that young himself and fights like that at his age don't do you any favours.

Daniel Geale is the next in line, World Middleweight Title and with another win or 2 could set himself up for a big fight in the US.
Paul fleming and Brad Pitt are really good prospects for the future also.

Oliver McCALL. Tough as old boots.I've never seen him even remotely shaken from a head shot.I don't think his son (Elijah) will be as good as him, sadly.He has already been knocked out.

I didn't mean can he win another fight. I'm more than sure he can. But going out on a win is a different matter. What usually happens is they score that comeback win, think "I've still got it" and then fight on until they get beaten once more. It's like a drug.

Two points:
1 Green is now a light heavyweight and should fight there if he goes on
2 He was at his best when Salas trained him prior to his "retirement". Get Salas back if possible.
Danny is no spring chicken and needs to be trained well and fighting in his correct weight division

??? He was barely under the CW limit for the weigh with Tarver, how is he a LHW now?

u could see in his face vs tarver that he should not be fighting at such a high weight.

his weight division and his trainer are his 2 main problems....

I've seen Danny Green in person he is about my size. I've fought at super middle weight and light heavy, his a light heavy weight sure he would have to lose 10 kg but that's very common for a boxer. I think if he continues to fight he should fight at light heavy. I just finished watching the replay of the Tarvor fight. They were saying in Greens corner to move left like Hopkins. There is one problem he doesn't have foot work of Hopkins. I wonder what team Greens game was, and if they practiced it in the gym. Alot of trainers when they are in the corner in a fight they tell you do stuff, you havent practiced or they haven't shown you in the gym, Maybe he was the wrong opponent. I don't think Green has the foot for big south paw like Tarvor Hopkins counter punched him using great footwork,or maybe his found his level.

I agree that LHW is the best division for Green, I was questioning the statement that "Green is now a light heavyweight", which sounds to me like Green has lost 12kg since fighting Tarver.

yeah danny should fight a lesser opponent get a win then retire....
