Maybe the difference is that Mc Donald's are employers.Take Brendan Ingle as one Example
1.His gym costs £6 per week and is open 7 days per week that's less than £1 per day,it costs around £5 per hour to pay a child minder/career etc.
2.The club is a registered charity and the Amateur coaches including the Ingles receive no payment for any of their work with the non professional fighters.
3.This effectively means that fighters such as Naseem Hamed who started at age 7 received 11 years of coaching free until turned professional at age 18.For every Naseem Hamed who made the job worthwhile there were probably another 50 kids who received the same amount of time and effort who didn't even turn professional.But these kids may have kept on the straight and narrow path due to the discipline of the gym during their formative years which is a result in itself.
4.When these kids turn professional they effectively employ the coaches and managers,they the employers.
5.There are many people in all walks of life not just in boxing who give their time free and volunteer their services to help disadvantaged kids to better themselves.Consider how much your employer pays you to roll into work.£6,£7,£8 per hour,now are you prepared to spend 3-4 hours after work everyday working for free?Probably not.
Brendan Ingle has an MBE also ex fighter James Cook has an MBE two people who have devoted their lives to helping kids from all walks of life.For free!
So the next time Macho Man you find your self asking your self these questions spend a little time on the Internet and research otherwise you come across as being mentally challenged .

I think over the years Brendan, has done a tremendous job. Plus so have the Sons carrying on in His Footsteps. One thing everyone underestimates in all this, Brendan has a very understanding Wife
