Where would you go if you where Stephen?

I agree by the way.

I'm absolutely disgusted by selby pushing a clearly unconscious smith to the canvas and then standing over him shouting abuse at him. Animal.

Smigga could make big noises at MW.

I'm not mate, just still in shock over the outcome.

That wasn't the Smith I've been brought up on. He's fighting a different style under Gallagher and it's not helping him one bit.

Still, Selby did well. Loaded up all night and Smith was just walking onto them. Didn't think he was hurting Swifty but then he landed that peach high up on the head. I'd be happier for Selby if I weren't a big Smith fan.

According to British rules, it was a Technical Count Out, as the ref did not complete the count. There is no such thing as a TKO in British boxing. although there is also no such thing as a KO. Either RSC, CO or TCO.

Good performances and results for the other two Smith brothers but I still can't get past the Swifty fight.

Barrie Jones looked like he didn't want to be there tonight. Stayed down from a bodyshot shaking his head and then as the count reached ten jumped up and cuddled and congratulated smith. Poor show.

smith was clearly limited and never world class. selby totally beat him in every way. its not really that surprising considering smith was fortunate to get the decisions over simpson and is clearly not much better than british level at best.

Agree. Fought like a beaten man from minute one, either his confidence is gone or he's accepting the role of opponent from the off, maybe both. Jones of a couple of years ago would have shown a helluva lot more than that. He should pack it in.

I'm not being bad but on that performance Selby would beat him 10 times out of ten. A rematch would not be a good idea for steve smith not straight away anyway.
