Managed to watch Stalker in the end. It was never close. Stalker was getting hit far too much. Still a bronze, good on the lad

The Ukranian just walked him down. Bronze is great though.

yea, strong kid. You could see Stalker being stopped in his tracks with some of the punches, even when they just hit the gloves.

Looking forward to Selby and Joshua later

Impressive stuff! This will hopefully see boxing get some high profile coverage in the build up and also some quality coverage on the bbc rather than just being an option.

They follow the medals

Made up for joshua but to lose in the world championship semi finals because of a bloody nose must be demoralising.
Felt sorry for the german.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GB BOXING TEAM :TU:

Lets hope for at least 2 gold medals which would give amateur boxing a massive boost in this country especially for next years Olympics in London.

Is amateur boxing really boxing these days? It's more like fencing.

There's always one...

OK, Team GB has three in the fencing finals then

The lad who fought Stalker showed one can still have a fight and win...

I have to admit I prefered the action in the WSB - even though I was and still am against the principle of WSB. I do prefer the pro way of scoring a bout.I think it attracts a more attractive style of boxing.

All the same, fantastic achievements from the lads and they can look at the example of Khan and, to a lesser extent (at the moment), James Degale in adapting to the pro's. A good boxer is a good boxer.

2 silvers , Selby had a good last round but just couldn't catch up, Campbell was only a 4 point loser but the Cuban always looked in control of the bout, I think Luke looked a bit tired in there.

And how come Lomachenko is fighting in the final???

Sapiyev is a great boxer, look forward to seeing him at the Olympics.

I miss seeing the points on screen though as at least you could see how the fight was being scored whether it was right or wrong.

Thanks.

Sapiyev lost, very surprised by that but the ukrainian had a great plan so deserved it.
