I'd have to favor Mugabi, but my confidence in that pick is shaky at best.

I'd pick Barkley over Mugabi any day. "The Blade" didn't have great skills maybe but one of the toughest most resilient boxers I've ever seen. He was the type of fighter who would have had to have been hit with a baseball bat to be knocked out clean. I could never see him quitting because he got thumbed Barkley was the kind of guy who would have kept fighting even if his eye was hanging out of his head. In addition to considerable physical advantages Barkley would have a huge edge over "The Beast" in terms of toughness and fearlessness. Barkely actually won some big fights as well while The signature achievement of Mugabi's career was his game losing effort against Hagler. It would not be all that far-fetched to imagine a fired up- Iran Barkley giving Hagler hell for numerous rounds before being KOed as well

Hearns would stop Mugabi late, use that great reach and jab and hold him at bay.Probably about the 11th round.

Mugabi would have to pressure the great Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns in order to win. No pressure, it would be all Hearns.
Hearns at 154lbs wins
Mugabi wins at 160lbs.
