and pitt got smashed by him, until the ref helped him up off the floor.

Yeh helped him up for what shouldn't had been a knock down.the ref also helped Oganov and gave him a breather when he went over and got his eye wiped.when Pitt was getting on top.this time watch the replay with the volume up the ref ask Oganov was he ok and he said no.so the ref should have stopped the fight or counted him

What fight were you watching? Oganov has not complained about the result, his camp have not complained about the result.
Does this tell you something?

OK, those blokes went at it hard. If you paid to watch that fight you would have to be happy. They went at it hammer and tongs. Oganov took a lot of punishment. But so did Pitt. He got a justifiable break but should of just taken that. There were some theatrics.
No wonder Pitt was breathing hard. Lots of combinations and was throwing ok except when hurt(jab perhaps a bit lazy at times and often missed). He did seem to recover ok though between rounds.Lots of nice hooks.
Big size difference but big experience difference as well.Oganov, to his credit was getting in range quite often. And landing which is a concern.
No wimps in this one. Geeeez!.

Just watched the fight on youtube, JSA, and yours seems to be an unbiased, relatively fair assessment.

Where to now for Pitt? At times he looked terrific but ...... Geeze he got hit.
Who woul be the perfect opponent, to not only set the bar abit higher but also for Brad to learn?
I think it would be a mistake to put him on the world stage at the moment (based on that performance)

how about a rematch to see if he is capable of improving on mistakes.
at least u know plenty will watch it.
i think they would be mad not to.

Does that mean you want to see Oganov throw better rabbit punches? He should go on a diet and fight at light heavyweight.

yeah, but wait till the ref ain't watching.
surely u must think it would be good to have a rematch so pitt can make a statement second time around yeah?
of course there r others he can fight but a rematch would be a good test again imo.

I haven't seen Oganov that effective in years, he punched hard and most would of hit the deck, he's not overweight, show me where he was overweight, that was a double hard bastard that walked into the ring, he looked actually good.
Pitt isn't ready yet and certainly shouldn't be rushed, but if he doesn't rematch oganov the best opponent for Pitt to see if he's improved is Vea, who is very similar to Oganov i guess.
You have to pay tribute to Oganovs chin, he wouldn't go down and ate some beutiful shots that would have crippled most, and he had to surender to stop. Who seen the Oganov v Dirrell fight?Never seen a man so pissed that the fight was stopped.

A ko win where you are not dropped and the ref didn't have to save you, and you weren't trying to get a DQ because you were getting hit hard.
