quixhall mate the main point your missing is Bunce is a figure of fun around here because of the trolling he did of knowledgeable members of this website....when times were bad for him he used the members of this site to prop up his frankly embarrasing and pathetic "bring back bunce campaign"....than when he gets back on tv.....he suddenly went all big tyme and started coming on here randomnly trolling peoples posts, for no reason, trolling people who disagreed with him in the worst way. at first some of us thought somene had hacked his acct or he ws drunk but no.....it was just bun ce showing us the real bunce...lol what the fat idiot doesntu understand is....the world doesnt revolve around him...when he was trolling he would say things like "ive got a boxing tv show so i know more about boxing than u"...@or what do you know about boxing to people who fought themselves and been following the sport fro decades'......" and i earn more money than u"......well the only reason i attack bunce now and than is....its so much fun!.....i run my own firm, have family, a bsy hectic life, etc and im sure i earn far more than bunce....but i dont have another forum where i derive so much fun attacking the idiots contrived loudmouth persona and egomania!
Can you show me the thread where he says "and i earn more money than u"

Sorry Ali, but the other guys are right, some of the postings he made before 'retiring' from the forum were very poor. You can see some of his rants on Eastside as well where he continues to run both this forum and Ian down.
Deserter,

Where can i find the threads on Eastside that Bunce has done or spoken of this forum and Ian ? :TU:
I can't remember exactly from memory fella but I'm pretty sure they had allegedly in the title of the relevant thread/threads.

I read all that on the other thread.

What is funny is two things; Buncey comments twice and the rabble rattle on for three weeks.

Remember, Eubank sold more tickets to people who wanted to see him knocked out than he ever sold to fans.

And second, The Ivory Tower of allegedly will never be breached because it isn't internet posters who sell out the big shows where FW makes his money.

Its people who go for a night out. It isn't those who could quote Peter Buckley's record.

So dont ever expect to know what is ahead for the next 4-12 weeks at allegedly. And even if you do, take it with a pinch of salt.

David, I don't understand your point on this one. What you have on this forum are several posters who are able to analyse the situation effectively from a business perspective. Given that, it's not actually that difficult to forecast what's likely to be ahead at Allegedly channel.
The fact of the matter is that I've yet to see anyone come up with a convincing explanation for how allegedly can generate enough subscription or advertising revenues to offset the costs involved in sustaining allegedly - even even those who could quote Peter Buckley's record are balking at the prospect of paying out for the channel, mainstream armchair fans certainly won't.
Your point about his shows seems irrelevant as he's never going to be willing to write off some of his profits from live events to subsidise a loss-making TV venture.
I feel confident in saying don't think BN will exist in its current form by the end of 2012... and you can keep the pinch of salt.

Deserter - agree with you completely. I think their impetus to do this is misguided and ill-conceived. Greed and control is how they've arrived at this - not altruism or philanthropy or even an objective, sustainable plan - don't believe they'll accrue the required subscribers to deliver the content people on here crave or believe should be expected for £10 nor do they have the history of delivering bills with the DNA posters on here prefer.

i.e. too many protected meal tickets for too long.

However; Mr Warren doubtless lives in a bloody great big house and doesn't fret about weddings for his kids or British Gas raising prices again - so who is most likely to be right?

On balance - him.

But the point I was trying to make was - gripes from posters here will not effect his thinking, his modus operandi or the quality of content on the channel.

The disdain meted out by those reportedly representing him illustration enough of that; criticism, either well constructed and objective or flippant and sarcastic is dealt with by a legal team and a stone wall.

But as I mention, it is a method which has maintained FW as a global player for 25 years.

I completely hear where you're coming from, but if you want a parallel for Mr Warren look no further than Mr Murdoch - the greatest media businessman of our age and probably the last of the great media moguls (to paraphrase Michael Wolff). Old Rup is clearly an unbelievably good businessman, but the digital age we've fast moving into has left him floundering - witness his purchase of myspace, which has been an unmitigated failure.
In the same way, I think FW has got it wrong on this occasion as he's deviated from the area he knows best and where he's enjoyed great success to plunge into a world he doesn't know a great deal about. I'd be very interested to know how much of this has been driven by one or both of his sons eager to make their mark in the 'brave new world' of fractured media platforms...
In essence, what I'm saying is that because FW has more often been right than wrong in his business hunches in the past, doesn't mean he hasn't got it badly wrong on this occasion. He's playing well outside his normal field and that's when you always tend to see things go awry...

Again I agree, I don't know the cost centre for running the channel and providing the content but I cannot imagine he will acquire more than 15,000 subscribers.
