Price has said that he wants to fight Fury, and it is probably one of the best domestic match ups that can be made and the fans wants to see it happen and the Board of Control have put out the purse bids which are due in this Wednesday so make it happen.

There are a lot of people in favor of Dallas. Maybe I am missing something but I just dont see him being very good. I know that Skelton is WAY over the hill, but I think this is a fight he could win. I'm interested, thats for sure.

Tom is far better than what people give him credit for a bad performance against page and a lose to price on 4 days notice and people are saying he is no good this is his chance to prove he is a top british level fighter once he beats skelton he is right back in the mix and hopefully gets a crack at the english or southern area titles

Lots of fighters look bad against page and price (imo) is world class. I wasn't basing my comments on his record, I just dont think he looks that skilled. But I haven't seen that much of him so I'll take your word for it.

In my view theres a small enough difference between Dallas , Skelton , Larry , Sprott , Audley , Rogan , Towers , Mcdermot ,Sexton for all those to be involved in good competitive fights with each other , Weve got to assume Fury , Chisora and Price are a bit far ahead of the rest but that group above can have some good domestic dust ups

why has skelton been so inactive latley especially at this stage of his career what is he 45? i think the young dallas was ko by price not long ago i think he'll have to much power for skelton to take him out within 5 rounds or wore down and rsf 8.

Yeah. Motoring offences. Made someone up as having drove his car to get out of the fines/points.
Skelton might not move like Page, but will maul Dallas and his experience might clinch this one for him.

He's been 45 for a long time. Offensively, Skelton seems to be not far of his prime.... his weakness now seems to be in his punch resistance somewhat - which might play into Dallas' hands.
Skelton doesn't seem to be consistent these days, so I guess its down to which Skelton turns up. He looked good against that guy fighting Audley soon (name has escaped me) in prizefighter.... and I thought he looked okay losing to Sprott in Prizefighter.
However, he didn't look great against McBride in same tournament - he seemed to get out maulled. Dallas is another big guy, so that might be awkard - but I think if Skelton is motivated and still ambitious for a British title, then even at close to 50 he might have enough left to beat Dallas.
If he does beat Dallas I wonder if he'll be named #1 for the British title?

This fight will probably be more interesting than the non-event, sorry I meant to say main event.

Dallas throws a very weird jab, more of a chopper than a range tool. Dallas got found out against Page.

Dallas is awful tonight.
Get ready for David Price vs. Matt Skelton.

Dallas looked shocking in the 3rd, looking knackered in the 4th. Looks like he wants out.

Corner should have pulled him out. Dallas wanted none of this.

Dallas stopped in the 5th. Shocking performance. Credit to Skelton, he bullied his way right through him.

I just turned this on and honestly thought it was a slo-mo replay. But it was actually in real time.

End of career for Dallas. I would be embarassed to be involved in that either from a trainer or boxers point of view. The trainers should have been asking Dallas what the hell was going on, if I was his trainer I would have been blasting him. For whatever reason Dallas was all wrong tonight, I don't know whether he has just been massively found out ability-wise or whether he has some issues in his personal life as his head just wasn't in it. Weird really.
