How was Hunter v Pickering a hometown decision? Hunter was dropped in each of the first two rounds... Then got up and basically punched Brown Sugars head in for the next half hour. Mick is coming back as he wants to go out on his terms, he's got the fires back burning within him and can STILL packed a 1000+ venue at the drop of a hat. Unlike poor Esham, who was about as popular in his day as chlymidia. #sexysouthpawisacock

It wasn't a home town decision - and I was sat about two yards from the ring - but only my opinion
Might just be the best atmosphere of a fight I've ever been to, mind...
Personally, I'd be amazed - but delighted - if tear up has owt left in the tank.

Well i was sat about two inches from my tv screen so my view trumps yours.
Esham won that fight, i think.
Let's see if Hunter has got owt left; if he has, there'd be some good fights out there. Quigg, Galahad, Frampton etc etc - lots of good guys around that weight.

Pulling out of the purse bid speaks volumes IMO, David Price was willing to fight whatever? Hence why he was happy with purse bids, if Hennesy was putting such a vast amount in then I just can't see why he would pull out at the last min?? Oh well, like I said pulling out the bid does not look good for Mick H at all IMO...

You know very little about the purse bid process,British Title fights attract a certain amount of money from Sky and its no where near 100k, Price isnt a big ticket seller,so Maloney was never going to bid big, only bluff to raise Hennessy bid if Maloney and Price fancied the fight so much why didnt they offer Fury 100k,simple they dont have it,FOOL
i know more than thee still havent forgot ya slated me thats all and im no manager but that was a blag with the offer purse bids were for the next day why not wait till then and see what was bid first im ready to spar now sexy what ever ya name is come up have a few rounds with us ill post the picture of your black eye s on ere

Listen Micky Boy you aint big enough to tackle me,you weren't big enough to tackle Esham Pickering he dropped u twice and you got a home town decision. You spewed it against a blown up Bantamweight Jason Booth,Maybe if Hennessy reads this post he may send up Kid Galahad his latest prospect to kick your arse you would have more of a chance with him than me.Obviously u have been on the sauce too much!
Look out someones towing yur caravan away mate!...

Winning the first two rounds even with knockdowns doesnt win yu a 12 round fight!. It was a very good and close fght but I thought Hunter was the stronger and more active fighter after the first 2 rounds and he became more dominant as the fight went on and Esham faded. Fair decision imo.

In order for you to pay David Price £100,000 you would have had to bid AT LEAST £240,000 as the Champion gets a 60/40 split, its a well known fact financially you are struggling.Price is uproven and no way would sky sports give you a minimum of £240,000 to back a fighter like Price in a 50/50 fight purely because if he lost, the investment would go down the drain. It would have to be pay per view in order to make it worth their while in the event of Price losing. And Sky dont do pay per view after the bullshit Haye v Audley fight so who are you trying to convince otherwise Frank?
Price gets Sexton and wins = 1 Show
2nd show Price v TBA (No one else around apart form Chisora) wont hava a mandatory for at least six months if chisora gets a beating from Klitschco he will be out for a while possibly a year.
3rd show another voluntary defence not worth watching because who else is out there?
So you put on 3 shows all safe bets for price keeps your contract sweet with Sky keeps you and Price in the driving seat.
Less risk doing it that way than facing Fury in a fight Price may or may not win.
PS You are selling your man short because no way is he getting 100k for his next fight or the one after he will be luckiy if he makes 100 k in his next 3 fights!!!! Especially with you Frank
Paint it how ever you want there is a purse bids system for a reason. Price is the mandatory challanger and fury vacates instead of fighting him who cares about what channel its on apart from the promotors the british public want to see this fight simple as and a champ who said he wanted to emulate sir henry cooper and keep the belt vacated so in my eyes its a cut and dry case of price being ducked
And the public want to see Price fight everyone apart from Fury? Actually the bottom line is all about money and getting the best money for your fighter which maloney has failed to get for his fighter.Price will fight Sexton and get 30k max and a win ,fight Fury for 3x as much get 100k and a 50/50 fight so what does the public want a 50/50 fight or a foregone conluaion because thats what the Sexton fight is,like the McDermott and Dallas fight were
So thats painting it as it is Price fighting washed up fighters, even though he has beaten Fury everytime they have met I would say 100k and an excellent chance of winning ,didnt want it.
SexySouthPaw you are obviously a hennessy fan or employee Price would of got more the 100k in the purse bids. so why would they accept a lower offer just to fight on channel 5.
even if they accepted the offer. hennessy would of pulled him[fury] out close to the fight why would he want his guy bashed to a pulp on channel5 his tv deal would then be over.
Fury looses his next fight and will prove what a yellow chicken he is move over Audley Harrison Fury is ready to take your place.

How can anyone who posts under a false name call a professional boxer 'yellow' or 'chicken'. What a stupid, stupid comment.
