And that's where your 2nd box came from.
I don't make stuff up, I ran a bunch of satellite installers for a number of years and my best friend owns a Satellite tv company.
If he slings you a free box he 'acquired' then Sky don't know. It's only when you want to replicate your channels that Sky get to know about it. They usually insist that it's also connected to the phone line too, so they can verify both are in the same household.
Sky didnt insist that it is connected to the phone line at my house, they asked me and because i didnt want it running from my kitchen,i said no. infact it was the instller who suggested i didnt need it (unless i want purchases,)which i dont

Keep on humming and haaing about signing up. A few fights I really want to see and would end up spending more going to the pub to see them.
Then on their site they are saying Sky customers sign up for 6 months and pay for 5. Which annoys me as I'm on Virgin then all this bollocks about multi room. If I sign up I would like in both rooms for £10 a month, I'd watch the British / Euro stuff downstairs but I would like to wake up in my bed around 3am watch the American fights then get back to sleep.
And Sky customers got it free for weeks beforehand.

I think what Gomez was trying to say is that the £10 multi room charge covers the cost to Sky for the hardware that you require but they present it as a cost to you for the service provided. If you think about it from a Sky point of view there is no (or a negligible) additioanl cost to Sky for piping the TV into your second box. They charge £10 to cover the box you may have picked up elsewhere and the installation that they may not have charged you for.
On another note, I've decided that BN is not worth the subs (for me) - I don't watch it enough and when I do i miss the end of fights as the recordings keep screwing up - so i cancelled my Paywizard payment and have had it confirmed that my subs are cancelled. So much for the 6 month handcuff period.
You'll be back!
I would cancelled after Groves fight then joined back in May! I dont think April going to be very good.
I actually "cancelled" in january, as in my last payment was for January, but I've not been disconnected until this week.
My reasoning is simple - I won't be watching many of the cards live at home due to other commitments, watching at friends or simple apathy. My subs for Feb, March, April and May (or £30 with a month free) would have bought me Del v Vitali, Burns v Moses and Mayweather v Cotto in terms of fights i would go out of my way to watch; and then Huck v Povetkin, Cleverly v Karpency and Groves v Anderson that I'd watch if I can. I can take or leave the rest of the schedule. Given that I am unlikely to watch many of these live, I'm happy to pick up viewing on the freeview repeats in the following week, the youtube updates or simply survive having not seen the fights. I have been really put off by the misrecording of the end of fights -with a job, a wife and kids i am not always able to watch 4 hours of boxing as broadcast, so I rely on the Sky+ service to assist my viewing. Paying £10 a month to miss the end of a succession of fights simply doesn't interest me, so my dalliance with BN is at an end.

The problem is we all know who the winner is going to be. Khan v petersen is a better fight imo.

I now believe that Margarito cheated in their first match as it seemed pretty obvious his punches didn't have the same purchase on them
Knowing/believing that loss came from foul play should install even more self belief in Cotto
Against Clottey and Pacquiao he seemed a bit vulnerable but he seemed to galvanise against Foreman,Mayorga and Margarito.(none competing at the same level as Floyd of course)
Although he goes into this fight an underdog I'm really looking forward to seeing how Cotto deals with Mayweather.
