Nasser Al Harbi to win by late stoppage or points.
Jamie balls camp apparantely were shocked at the power and strength of Nasser in thier fight, where Nasser took the centre and forced Ball back for most of the fight and indeed hurt Ball several times.

next time i pop in coops camp to see the lads train ill ask them about that quote. i was at the fight nas was on top but jamie was never in any real trouble at any time in the fight its was bubbling up nicely til the cut i had nas 2-1. my prediction is nas to beat mutley wide points margin

While you are there ask them about a rematch, see what they say to that mate. Jamie Ball fans living in denial lol.

Great night of boxing - great show - absolutely enjoyed it!
The main event JAMIE BALL VS NASSER AL HARBI

I was supporting Jamie Ball - but he looked to be behind - I gave Al Harbi all three rounds - he looked a bit too skilful and classy - a talented well rounded fighter! Ball landed some good shots but he didn't do anything convincing and just seemed to be too slow to keep up!

Al Harbi looked to be getting stronger and looked to have more power despite being the smaller of the two fighters!
Great pair of boxers - really enjoyed it - real shame it was stopped due to a cut half way through the fourth round

Relief for all of us Ball fans, he didn't look like he would win if he continued the way he was going!
Finished as a technical draw - Would really like to see the rematch!

Superb atmosphere - first proper show in ages in the Birmingham/Midlands area!

Also - there was a fight for the British Masters Title @ Middleweight
Terry Carruthers and Kevin McCauley - another smashing bout!
Well done T Carruthers who won 97-94

Come on Dave Coldwell - Sort the rematch!

Just been told Young Mutley has pulled out, don't want the fight now, so Dave Coldwell is going to find a new opponenent for Nasser for the show on the 11th of May, looking for a high level fighter.

Nasser don't know yet, he will not be happy about it, he was flying in training, hopefully we will get a top line opponenent.

im not a jamie ball fan. im a boxing fan who was at the show to watch a gud evenly matched fight and thats wat it was. sorry to here bout mutley pulling out hope he gets matched well

No probs Tommy Gunn, my main concern is getting a really good opponenent for Nasser, who do you guys think would be a good match, bearing in mind we are looking for someone high level that can lead towards a title or maybe someone who has a title already, very interested in your choices if you have any.

David Barnes is with DC,he got a nasty cut last fight so that will take some healing

Craig Watson would be a good choice ex British and Commonwealth Champ. Lloyd Taylor now would not be a step forward, though he is a good fighter.

Barnes maybe too small for Nas as he fights at light welter, but a good pugilistic fight, Vassell would be another great fight for us, but he has been out for a while and had some family problems, I think, so I don't know when he will be ready, hopefully soon, he has been missed.
