Cameron just knocked him out with a HUGE right hand. Barrett was out cold.

The fourth.
Both lads looked vulnerable for the right hand, but Camerons landed first. It was a monster.

I know mate, he was a bit shakey in the first 2 rounds, but then came back. He won every single round after that imo.

I gave Barrett the first 2 rounds, Cameron did enough in the 3rd, and then BOOM! Lights out for Barrett in the 4th.

I agree. The first round was very close, the second was Barrett's, the third was well and truly Cameron's as he established a nice distance for the jab and over hand right. Can't wait to get tape of this one to watch again.
It will be interesting to see what Shane does now. While his win over Barrett was a real statement, I think that it could quite easily have been him on his back. He was open to Barrett's right hand. I think Shane is a monster at Cruiser, and could really makes some noise there. I hope he drops back down and has a legitimate crack at a title.

I don't think he'll go back down to cruiser now there'll be money fights at heavy. I wonder how David Haye rates him after there sparring.

A Good win for Shane and well deserved he always trains hard and is always dedicated to the cause so good to see him get the result. However lets not get things out of context, Barrett is a shot fighter who managed to beat a equally unmotivated shot fighter in Tua. Im happy Shane won, but the result would have only a small ripple effect if any at all on the world scene!! I Hope Dave stays retired hes well past it and it would be a shame to see him comeback in my opinion hes 40 ride off into the sunset. As for Shane be good to see him fight a Top Contender Someone in the Top 25 to really calculate where hes at.
A beautiful KO in anycase

But if he's as skint as all the reports say he is why not come out of retirement for a bumper payday? I think he's got Camerons number anyway, just like Barrett had his.

Barrett was taking punches in the third, it looked inevitable that Cameron would get a harder punch in.
Well done, Shane!
One win in his last seven fights, I wonder how long Boxrec will leave Barrett at 26?

?? boxrec uses computer generated rankings that update at 3am GMT daily. its not a john hogg kinda guy individually ranking everyone in the boxrec database

Surprising. I would have thought he would have dropped further than one spot.

Thank God that Hogg has nothing to do with anything other than Australian ratings,

let's hope it stays that way,
![[icon_neutral.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)
otherwise the ratings will be full of Queenslander's
