Tyson Fury: Yay or Nay?

Tyson Fury: The man who promised the boxing public that his next fight would be against Wladimir Klitschko after disposing of Del Boy Chisora in 2011. The man who then relinquished his British title simply to avoid the challenge of David Price. The man who fights Vinny "middle aged punchbag" Maddalone and considers it to be impressive.

Is it just me who hasn't been drawn into his farcical career? Is it not just Mick Hennessy protecting the only jewel in his crown?

I agree, great jab, good athleticism for a big guy, but who has he proved it against?

Hes done a good job getting in shape. His skills have improved. He needs to add muscle/physical strength and build some punch power if it can be done. But the chisora win is a big big plus which got me interested... hes worth watching. Nice kid too

If was his manager these are the 3 guys id be chasing for a fight.

Audley Harrison . Well past his best known fighter , but still a tough test for tyson , plenty of marketabilty.
Tor Hamer - Prizefighter winner , fighter known in the both us and uk , dangerous fighter and big crowd drawcard
Dominick Guinn - US fighter who went the distance with both Boystov and Pulev who are like Tyson up and coming heavys , a fight where we get to see how Fury stacks up.

Even though Hamer is a short-ish HW I'd be amazed if Fury would go anywhere near him. Agree on Harrison though, that's a great shout. I reckon Audley may even Believe He Can Do It against Fury.

Fury Missed out , Looking like Price got the fight , his management are taking the path i hoped tysons team would , he needs a name fighter dont know where he goes now but a Price fight late-ish 2013 is on the cards maybe 3 or 4 more fights. His team wont want to much risk untill then so guys like , Helenius , Adamek , Boyztov and co aint even in the picture ... sorry boxing is business and for the record by late 2013 Fury will be To Good for Price where as right now its a 50 50

Can't agree with your last sentence. I think Price will be too good for Fury IF he increases the frequency of his fights.

Fury wouldve been slagged to high heaven had he taken audley next. But then Fury is further along than Price with regards to his career at the moment.

When it happens it will be massive money fight for both these guys a 1million Pounds each aint out of the question , with massive interrest worldwide , in my opinion the winner will be the guy that improves the most, learns the most in that time and i think that will be Tyson
