Has Mrs Rhino ever given you a blow that made you want to go down?rhino222 wrote:standing counts are only an appreciation of a good 'tag', they do not count negatively against the receiver of the count, if i fought and landed 3 decent blows to the target area against an opponent and he landed on ly 2 against me (even though i received a standing count for both blows)... i would still be 3-2 up and i would win the round, not that winning the round counts, its all about the final score.dr_devious wrote:I was at the Excel today and Ogogu's decision was virtually a highway robbery. No way did he win the fight against a very good Ukrainian. To the extent that Ogogu took 2 counts in the second round and still won the round on 2 out of 5 judges cards!!! Lomachenko looks very special, and Khyrov was the best MW on show as well. Joshua got a gift decision last night but Ogogu's was ridiculous. Great atmosphere for the Ogogu fight though

Re: Anthony Ogogo - SPOILER
Great win for Ogogo there, he more than held his own with the world #1 and nicked a close decision on home ground. The Brits are such "good sports" that'd they prefer to see all our boxers go out in the 1st round, rather than get a few close ones. But you can be sure if that was in the Ukraine, Ogogo would probably not have scored a single point. So bad luck Khyrov and here's hoping Ogogo beats the German on Monday.

Anyone who thinks Ogogo won that is an idiot.

If you weren't obviously a bit simple, I might find that insulting.Gray-Fox wrote:Anyone who thinks Ogogo won that is an idiot.
