Exsactly...'we made this offer... we made that offer'.

You're fighters a shit bum... noone wants to fight him... not even for a million!
If his fighter is such a 'shit bum' fighters should be lining up to take money like that for fighting him.
Obviously, we all know Nathan is not that. I think Fwanks frustration is that non of the 'big boys' want to play with him and it has hurt his ego....hence the rants, public displays of emails etc.

Not totally his fault, to be fair but some have bigger fish to fly, others are just not interested in fighting someone like Nathan (busy, energetic etc and probably in Wales) and others simply just want to piss him off. I doubt Hearn or Froch are all that worried about Nathan but its a bit of a risk, for not much reward (financial aside). Imagine if Froch was to lose to Nathan, it would undo everything he has worked hard to achieve, all the tough fights etc...As well as giving Nathan and W@rren a short cut to the top (and exposure in the US). Hearn and Froch aren't interrested remotely in doing W@rren that favour. Not good business? Depends which angle you look at it. W@rren to a degree, has made a rod for his own back with his past handling of fighters and dealings. Rightly or wrongly, it is coming back on him.

Interesting times.

British Boxing is in a state of flux; the one on top nowmay not be in 5 years; Tony is a very capable and marketable boxer, he puts bums on seats and delivers. Warren is not the antichrist and has done well for himself and done good for British Boxing and many of his boxers have done well. It's very easy to take sides and 'like' Tony as he posts here and fights hard and to dislike Warren. We don't know all the facts; Frank (and most of us) finds it difficult to seak highly of someone he's fallen out with. All of it should be taken with a pinch of salt; it'll blow over soon and there're some excellent bouts this weekend :box:

I think the outcome was similar to the Rhodes case.
Tony could exercise his right to walk away from the Contract but still obliged to pay the financial terms of that Contract until its expiry ?
If he didn't pay then maybe the Board threatened sanctions against Tony resulting in the payment being made.
I will answer that one for you 26.

Firstly let me say that I agree that it is a shame that hearings before the Board are held behind closed doors and the results of those hearings are not made public in any detail.

The outcome of the hearing before the Board on the 2nd of August was that Bunny was found to be in breach of numerous terms of the Boxer/Manager contract and various Regulations of the Rules and Regulations of the Board. As a consequence the Board determined that Tony had lawfully determined his management contract on the 21st May 2012. The Board further determined that Tony had adequate contractual grounds for determining the contract and therefore did not have to pay any management commission to Bunny for the period that the contract would have run if it had not been determined, i.e. March 2013.

However, there was one fight which had taken place prior to the management agreement being lawfully determined and the Board decided that Tony should pay Bunny 25% for that fight. This payment is disputed by Tony and will be determined by the Stewards of Appeal.

Bunny has appealed the decision of the Stewards of the Board and the appeal will be heard before the Stewards of Appeal in London next Wednesday, the 19th. September.

There is no reason why Tony cannot say what happened at the hearing or why he changed from being probably Bunny's biggest supporter to holding the views which he does now, other than he has been advised by me to refrain from commenting upon any of the issues until after the appeal has been heard by the Stewards of Appeal and matters before the Board have been finally determined.

After next Wednesday, Tony may, or may not, decide to disclose the true position in full. That is a matter for Tony to decide and no one else and we must respect the course which he chooses to take.
Nice one Rumpole.

I love this forum! Great stuff, some great replies and I think we all know that it's hard to believe pretty much any of the crap that comes out of Warren's mouth.

He reminds me of the ageing man with a few bob in the bank, who pulls the fittest bird in town who is 20 years younger, and shags her senseless for 14 days.
He then realises he can't keep it up, and gets bored with her, so he gets shut but doesn't want anyone else to have her and becomes bitter and twisted when she runs to the arms of one of his business competitors.

That was ridiculous, he looked real pissed off though! I think he has just learned the word ingrate and is trying to use it as much as possible. I'm fairly intelligent, but never heard that word before until Worren's recent ranting.

I do the same thing when I learn a new word, I don't know why I do it, but I must sound like a right pranny!
